I watched this over and over and over until I made it through my piece. It turned out fantastic! I can't thank you enough. I'm very new to the knitting machine world and appreciate any help I can find. You speak very clearly when you make your instructions, and make it so easy to understand. Be blessed young lady!
I followed your instructions and made a beautiful scarf on my first try! I never do good on first tries of anything so that’s high praise for your tutorial. Thank you! Just in time for my mom for Mother’s Day! 💜
finally !!!! someone clearly shows the drop stitch technique on the addi .... thank you very much i have made wonderful looking projects thanks to your demo. .... one issue was the sound quality ... other than that thanks a bunch
I have now made one of these on my new circular knitter. It was such a fun scarf to make, popping out those drop stitches was very therapeutic. Thank you for your very clear instructions.
I am not a sew person either. I would have liked to watch you close it and join them. I’m new to all this. I really loved your explanation and technique. Looks like it would be fun to make!
Great video! Just a thought for those that are comfortable with kitchner- instead of pulling both ends closed you could flatten both ends and kitchner stitch them together so the seam would be invisible.

What a brilliant video. Nice and clearly explained for newby project learners like myself, otherwise we haven't a clue how to do these things, will definitely make one and show you all when completed. Thanks again.
Love, love, love it! Your directions were perfect! I really love pulling down those stitches. They kind of pop like when you pop bubble wrap...which is also satisfying but you don't end up with a gorgeous scarf at the end. Thanks so much!
You're welcome. i"m so glad the pattern worked out for you. I hope you subscribed to the channel. I have some future Addi patterns in my brain floating around
I absolutely loved the video and the scarf. I'm expecting my first Addi on Monday, and I plan on making this scarf to go with my hat. Thank you for sharing. 😃
I did it!! This was my first project on the addi that I finally got in the mail tonight!!!! I bought it from your link. I have the pro coming soon too. Thank you so much, and I also understand how to cast on with the waste yarn too.
I'm getting my addi machine on Sunday and this is the first project I plan to make. Thank you for your video. It was super helpful and you explain everything really well. Hoping to see a bunch more videos from you using the addi express. 😊
Awesome thank you I am completing one now almost done...using landscape blue lagoon....would love to see a video on a tote/purse with the addi 😀...by the way you are a fabulous teacher! This is the 2nd item that i have made from your instructions!
Wonderful drop stitch scarf! I usually don't like them, but yours looks so nice. I agree with you that variegated yarn is works very well for this project. Re: video requests: I would like to see what you can do with 'socks' on the small addi machine... with heels. (not after thought heels where you cut the yarn and then hand knit) Thank you so much for that nice close up detail showing how you cast off. That was great! Thank you for posting this tutorial video in our facebook Addi Addicts group.
Off to look for some yarn to make this! Thanks! As for a video....I would love to see how to make one of those reversible little animals or dolls. I think it"s made on the small addi using a long tube.
Your welcome. Thanx for the request idea. I'm gonna head over to pinterst and get inspired for doll ideas. I think I had seen the reversible dolls a while ago.
Loving this but have one question: why cast on with waste yarn? A regular one-on-one-off cast on will give you an end that you can pull up like a drawstring also.. would that not work? thanks!
rinzerider on my normal scarf it works without using waste yarn. I just take it off and drawstring close. With the drop stitches it continues to be unsucure from the bottom and will unravel from the cast on edge. I hope that makes sense, lol. I learned the hard way😋 I hope that made sense
I have never made a pocho, but i would love to give it a try. I have a facebook group facebook.com/groups/139574133317097/ its a great to keep updated with new patterns and post your own work. I hope to see you there.
Love your channel, just subscribed. I've been learning as much to do with knitting the last 2 months. Bought an Addi Express King (waiting for it) So, got an off brand & usng that now. What the tool on drill & how can I get one?
Do you know about how long the beginning of the scarf was before pulling and then finished scarf was? My addi arrived today and I can't wait to start using it. 😊
Does anyone know where to purchase the crankie machine that she mentioned. She's the only one that has such a great and easy way of doing her project so fast I love it, but I can't for the life of me find the machine She's talking about
I love your video, thank you for sharing. You misspelled "drop" in your title. I thought I would let you know so people can find your video easier if you change it. 🙂
I messed up my first one, is there a way of untangling and rewinding the yarn to use again like in knitting? I proceeded to make a sample one and it worked much better, I got confused with getting the "first" stitch off...
This Is Your Brain On Crafts yes😃 Cast on & off with waste yarn.( if u Crochet) single crochet closed across the cast off edge. Sc2tog across cast on edge
cathy wallace I have a new Facebook group dedicated to Crochet & the Addi knitter. I Would love to have u as a member. m.facebook.com/groups/139574133317097?ref=bookmarks
Not exactly sure. I no longer have the scarf to measure. But I was able to wrap it twice depending on the yarn. Even between worsted weight yarns it can be a size difference of 5 or more inches depending on what brand you buy
I watched this over and over and over until I made it through my piece. It turned out fantastic! I can't thank you enough. I'm very new to the knitting machine world and appreciate any help I can find. You speak very clearly when you make your instructions, and make it so easy to understand. Be blessed young lady!
Thanks for this. I tried it and it worked the first time. It lengthens the scarf and really looks attractive!

Always enjoy the way you teach. Thank you for the video
Great video! Just a thought for those that are comfortable with kitchner- instead of pulling both ends closed you could flatten both ends and kitchner stitch them together so the seam would be invisible.
I need to learn how to do that. I never know the appropiate name for terms, lol. Now i know Kitchner...Off to youtube for a lesson lol

Love the scarf. Where can I purchase a Krankie for my Addi machine?
You can find on Etsy under cranker for Addi or Sentro too
Thanks that was so cool. I’m trying this.
My counter is broke so I’m going to wing it.
So glad you like the pattern. My counter is broke on my small addi
I have made so many of these I love the thank you but I also wanted to know if you can make a video on making a pillow on the king size addi thank you

I'm not exactly sure. I can give you a guessimation, lol. about 12-18 inches pre pull. Have fun with your new machine!

I want to know too!
You can find on Etsy . Google cranker for Addi knitting machine
I ordered my Addi adapter on Amazon.
Awesomeness ‼️‼️
I love your video, thank you for sharing. You misspelled "drop" in your title. I thought I would let you know so people can find your video easier if you change it. 🙂

Terrific!
This was so scary but I did it ty for the video
I'm so glad you like it
Where can I find the crank thing u have here
Where did you get the grabber which into the drill and onto the machine handle?
I jumped when you suddenly stopped with the drill adapter and it made a Big Crunch sound....I was sure that you’d broken a needle! Lol.
Can you tell me name of drill u use in video ? From where I can get it ? Any link to purchase it?
Magic!
Thank you
I would like you to make a video on making the little animals on a small addi
Could you please show us how to knit a shawl om addi knitting machine.
Love it.
Thank you
The adapter for your machine may I ask where u got it at
Is there a way to crochet the ends and still make it a drop stitch scarf?
This Is Your Brain On Crafts yes😃
Cast on & off with waste yarn.( if u Crochet) single crochet closed across the cast off edge. Sc2tog across cast on edge
Very nice.
Thank you
Brilliant!
thank you
Can you provide the link to the crankie? Thanks
krankie.bigcartel.com/ I hope this helps
@@LittlejohnsYarn link no longer works
What is the attachment on your drill?🤔
AWESOME.....
Jerry Burgess thank u, feel free to stop by my FB group 😘 m.facebook.com/groups/139574133317097?ref=bookmarks
Wow 🌷👍
How to finish scarf if I don't want to make it infinity?
You can single Crochet cross the cast off edge. Remember to skip every other stitch
What size machine
I couldn't hear how many rows you did, can you tell me? THANKS!
No problem, all you need is 100 knit rows. I put the pattern in the discription
cathy wallace I have a new Facebook group dedicated to Crochet & the Addi knitter. I Would love to have u as a member. m.facebook.com/groups/139574133317097?ref=bookmarks
You need to bring your volume up
Do you sell your stuff
For 100 rows, how long does the scarf turn out to be when pulled?
Not exactly sure. I no longer have the scarf to measure. But I was able to wrap it twice depending on the yarn. Even between worsted weight yarns it can be a size difference of 5 or more inches depending on what brand you buy
Where does it show how to add the waste yarn? I don't think this is very helpful of a video.
