This thing is next level. Kudos to everyone involved in this project! The quality of work has to be up there, if not above that of OEM manufacturer race cars.
Probably not, nowadays things are heavily engineered on computers, involving very expensive test bench etc. This car would be comparable with the 80’s race car based on road cars, where they pretty much made everything directly on the car, with little engineering drawing etc.
@@maxzorn7173 As much as I love this build, he is right. Factory race cars like GTE/GT3 have such a high level of detail, engineering and cost these days that it is insane. They are approaching the speed of 90s LMP cars with far less power and less aero.
@@maxzorn7173 I've watched the build from day 1... and yeah as Cade says, the build is absolutely amazing, but for instance they didn't test chassis stiffness (or if they did we haven't seen it) and most of the car chassis remains, no composite floor or front/rear tubular chassis etc. The suspension setup is made for drifting at the start.

@@retoadyt3196 it wouldn't sound as good, if you're going to go to all the effort to make it equal length you want it merging into one collector that way you can hear each individual cylinder firing which is what give it the crazy sound

been wanting to see a Judd V8 or V10 in a drift build for a while, but i’m wondering if the motor could hold up to that insane amount of abuse, redlining nearly every second of its existence. or if it’s even cost effective at all, what w routine tear down and maintenance.
