I disagree. It'd be much better if they just did high quality playsets. The problem with the SW style dioramas is they give you so little for high prices because of the extra pieces needed for the black border and Lego seemingly thinking they can charge more for a set because it's "adult".
I would legit pay $1500+ for a MASSIVE minas tirith
Here are 3 sets I would like there to be:
1) A Lego set of Amon Hen. It would include Boromir, Aragorn, Frodo, The Lurtz, and two Uruk Hai.
2) A Lego set of Edoras. It would probably be one of those big sets with a bunch of minifigures: Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf, Eowyn, Eomer, Theoden, Grima, Gamling, Hama and several Rohan Solders + horses.
3) A Lego Mount Doom set, just the crack of doom part. It would have Frodo, Sam, and Gollum.
I would argue for number 3 to include Elrond and Isildur. We have Frodo, Sam and Gollum in Barad Dur but we never got an Isildur minifigure unfortunately 😢
I would imagine a small battle pack like set to include Sauron, Gil Galad, Elrond, Elendil, and Isildur.

Other than battlepacks, a minifig scale Fell Beast and Witch King vs. Eowyn and Merry like you stated would be epic considering how desired that GWP is.
I know that people would be pissed if Minis Tirith was $600- $800 but I think that might be the only way to do it right.
Honestly I'd rather a giant shire set of that price

I would love to see a battle of Pelennor fields set with a Fellbeast, the Witch-King, Theoden, Eowyn and Merry in a Rohan outfit. Great video man! I love to see that the Lego Lord of the Rings hype has returned :)

Dude, I actually absolutely love this video man. I love the point you brought up and the great ideas you’ve got. I genuinely hope Lego does something. Very very much like what you’re saying. I myself just bought Barad-Dûr, which is the only set I’ve been able, and will afford all year unfortunately. And your giveaways sounds insane man. I am personally missing both Shelob attacks and the Helms Deep set, so I unfortunately will probably never have that figure. Once again. I love this. I’ll definitely be rewatching it and your other videos. Amazing content man!!!!!!
I agree! Edoras would be a gorgeous set in the vein of the new biggies! Amon Hen I've been considering as my first MOC at some point.

I got into LOTR after the sets were retired😭but was so happy when Rivendell came out last year. I also never noticed the eye of Sauron. I had wondered what it was but never made the connection, that’s so cool

Big fan of mock battle scenes, and getting into making custom mini figures. My favorite battle was of course the most famous Minas Tirith.

Lego really needs to make diorama sets. I don’t understand why they take so long to understand the trend with Lord of the Rings.
It'd be cool if they make modular Shire sets for $20-50 each. You can gradually build your Shire and connect with the original Bag End

As much as I'd like cheaper LOTR sets, I'm kind of hoping that Helm's Deep is made into a $400-$500 set. I think it could be really cool at that scale, and hopefully that would give them the chance to really beef up the armies.

Would love LOTR battle packs and it would get LEGO a ton of goodwill, good press and of course money. It makes more sense than say, some kind of battle scene at Pelennor Fields because people can just buy a bunch of battle packs and make their own scenes.
I really want to see some diorama Lord of the Rings sets for once. It would be amazing to have a 3000 piece Balrog set, Mines of Moria, and even a diorama of lothlorien with Galadriel and Frodo in the mirror scene. I would also love to see a UCS Edoras set with Gandalf the white, Grima, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Rohan Guards, Theoden (cursed), Eowyn, Gamling, and Eomer. It would also be amazing to get a diorama set of Isildur and Elrond at Mt Doom, a set of Bree, and maybe a diorama set of Weathertop. The set however that would be amazing to get is a UCS Helms deep that has 7000 + pieces. Imagine getting Theoden, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, The old archer, the young kid soldier, Haldir, Hama, Lorien soldiers, Rohan Soldiers, Berserker, and 10+ Uruk hai.
I want to see affordable LOTR sets, and Helms Deep!

You said the white tree in the Barad-Dur set could be a hint for Minas Tirith, but the shire is also on the Palantir. As well as the notes "Shire? Beggins?". This could also hint to the shire. Also they were already thinking about making the shire as their first set in 2024, but decided to do rivendell. Also i dont know if they would consider something like that, but there is a nintendo game coming out this year, which is animal crossing like and is about the hobbits living in the shire. So if you want some more hype for a set like that next year would probably be good. But this is all speculation of course.
Also i think they will never do a battle pack for 20$, i dont know how everyone can hope for that, cause the last battlepack in 2012 was like 40 or 50$ i think.
Edit: also i think that they included Gothmog in Barad-Dur i dont think there will be Osgilliath or Pelenor soon. The GWP was also a nazgul (could be the witch king) so it would be quite weird if they bring more or less both again next year.
Just bought Barad Dur and am a HUGE LOTR fan but need smaller sets both because of price and actual size

Minas Tirith makes sense. Rivendell represented the Fellowship of the Ring, Barad-Dûr represented the Two Towers. I’m sure LEGO would eventually create Minas Tirith to represent the Return of the King.

Bara dur is tall enough already with out an underground set for it.
Considering that we're close to the 25th anniversary for the Fellowship of the Ring in which it is shown Minas Tirith for the first time I think it won't be the big set for 2025 but more likely to be announced in 2026. For 2025 I'd really like to see more small battle set (Gondor soldiers, Rohan knights, Uruk-hai or Oathbreakers would be cool). Next year for a big set I'd like to see Helm's Deep, the Golden Palace of Edoras or something Moria related (with the Watcher, Balin's grave and the bridge of Khazad-dum).

I would like to see Minas Tirith in Micro scale like that of the original Hogwarts Castle. Chance to capture a ton of detail and scale at a fair price point.

So much material and scenes to pull from. Shire icons set with Bag End, Party Tree, Green Dragon tavern, and Bywater bridge. Edoras with the Golden Hall. There is also Minas Morgul and Cirith Ungol. The biggest though is the a full bring back of the theme. Minas Tirith icons set with White Tower of Ecthelion and White Tree with the following set builds, Osgiliath with Faramir exclusive figure, lighting of the beacons with Pippin exclusive figure in his knight of Gondor attire, Grond ram battle set, Oliphant large set with Haradrim, Witch King versus Eowyn with Merry in his esquire of Rohan attire, a proper Pelennor fields battle pack with Rohan soldiers, banners, and horses, and orcs with catapult and/or tower build. Gondor soldiers battle pack is also a must. Make it happen Lego!

I think minis tirith is a big possibility for the future. Especially since they chose not to include the witch king in barad dur. It makes no sense why they wouldn't include him unless they were planning on putting him in a future set.

I would only buy 9 or 10 of these. That said, I don’t know how you have this list without an Edoras. And maybe a brick built Olyphant to complement the pellinor fields.
