I wonder if the Sauron minifig is gonna become the most expensive minifig when it comes out, even though its a bit disapointing.

My guess is it will be around $75-$125 for a bit and then when the set retires it will jump

i have the tower of orthanc in very good condition and just recently learned mini figs have so much value, i might have to sell my grima 😅

Don’t, I have the set too and I was going to do the same thing with the Demogorgon and I held it for a little longer and the price went up fast, so don’t sell it. Keep it until it is really expensive

If the price of these are any indication, then I wonder how much the Rivendell minifigures will be a decade from now.

Well the threshold to purchase that set is already quite high. I imagine with out reprints they will be in the $20 range for the random throw in figs, significantly higher for the chase ones. I think it also increases these figures values, as now people with want all of the one figs, ie all Borimir etc
