i played back in the day in 2012 before gta5 and i can tell you the airport in multiplayer was the way to go it was soo fun soo much mindless chaos modders will make the game even more fun too
GTA IV was massive fun to play online with friends, but the reason why i love GTA V online more is because there's so much to do. you can mess around with friends and/or do missions with them too. find a few money glitches here and there and then you really feel unstoppable lol. plus, the creator customization with maps and races was endless as well. IV still holds a place in my heart tho
GTA Online definitely has good things in it, even some improvements. I just hate having to use money glitches to actually feel like I can make any progress, I couldn’t imagine starting a level 1 character in 2024 on that game. There’s just too much bullshit imo but I agree with friends it can definitely be fun if you’re just fuckin around

You're so right about GTA Online. It was fun at first for several months but now it's crazy when it comes to free-roam. Strangely I feel that rockstar downgraded their PVP from GTA IV and RDR1. They clearly focused a lot on PVE which is like you said sort of barebones even though it has its charm in the older games. Unfortunate that the PVP seriously suffered. No cops and crooks? Disappointing
GTA Online's economy is atrocious. It would be so nice if we got realistic payouts, realistic car prices, etc. They can just add in ridiculously priced houses and items that exist in real life to balance it out if they wanted to. I play it on PC with a menu, cause tired of grinding and you kind of just need one as there's a bad modder in every few lobbies. SA-MP used to be something I played, that was fun.
I wish that they would fix car prices by only charging 30k for a civic. Then you take the hyper cars that are only 3 mill in game and make them irl price like 10 mill TLDR: they UNDER PRICED the hyper cars that are actually 10-20 mill and they OVER PRICED the cheap cars
I remember the cool mods in these lobbies. One guy had a giant robot made out of different ramps and dumpsters and trucks lol and some ppl had presidential body guards. They would spawn a limo and the body guards would sit up front and the player would sit in the back and and the guards would shoot back at any players who shot at him/them. To me it was cool af. Even the fighting mechanics are much better. Gta 5 /gta 5 online has the same 3 punches over and over. No mixed martial arts like gta 4. It just makes it more interesting. No money or apartments online is perfect becausee theres no need to load into buildings. You can just walk right in. Zero paywall, zero distractions. Not being able to purchase cars makes you appreciate finding super cars around the map too. I remember spending hours in campaign mode trying to wait for an Inferno to spawn. It was such a rush to get one and save it. Its definitely my fav gta.

The ragdoll of the Euphoria engine in GTA 4 and RDR1 is amazing but they changed it for whatever reason, and it was back when they didn’t care about money so yeah no paywalls or having to buy cars instead of steal them like GTA Online, which literally gets rid of the meaning of the title “Grand Theft Auto”

Drunk street racing is the best idea I can think of I'm great at it from midnight club but I get bored of the driving GTA 4 has better driving I wish it had manual shifting but it's ok I still think it would be a miracle and a challenge to get it to still be drunk in the street race but it would be funny to see it would be a miracle if someone makes it to the Finnish. Edit: that is the chevalcade and it's meant to be a escalade very big pp energy car
If you have any friends that have the game I’d definitely say play the online for shits and giggles. You can still play it alone and have a decent time if ppl aren’t being assholes but it’s not as fun without friends to play with in my opinion

As much as I love GTA V I completely agree. I’m glad my GTA IV videos have been doing well bc it’s actually my favorite game, so I still got more videos for it in store and hopefully even a full playthrough of the story mode at some point. Thanks for the advice 👍

I thought it was just me I switched gta 5 for 4 a while back offline and online the physics to me feel slightly more realistic and the damage from crashes to me feel a lot more realistic gta 5 feels like a cheap arcade game and totally agree gtaO is awful as soon as you spawn in the game your phone does nothing but ring and the map is crammed with a load of rubbish I hope 6 is more like 4 in everyway what a masterpiece way a head of its time
