Being an Indian living in Melbourne under student visa, I’ve realised lately, most of the Indians who are living abroad they literally aren’t here for studies neither they are polished enough to behave well socially. I’’m here not at all comfortable speaking with my own people, most of them look and sound like villagers who managed to come here. What saddens me the most is our reputation which is fucked up totally.
I m from East africa,I live in Australi,I rented my taxi indian guy who has taxi license,he rented to another Indian who even doesn’t have driver license.few weeks later department of transport called me told me a guy who drove my taxi doesn’t have taxi license even driver license.also my brother rented his house Indian couple,his next door called him told him many Indians live in his house,he went therr morning,they put mattresses even kitchen space 18 Indians lived in 3 🛌 house imagine.
The reason is not to study instead to settle. Till they get H1b they will keep doing 2/3/4 masters working full time in restaurants and then once they get H1b they start to work in some bogus desi consulting firm in US.

Ones True willingness to pursue higher and quality education anywhere in the world must be accepted and allowed. Ones past academic records prove whether the students intension is genuine or not. But if someones intension is just to settle in USA or any other country other than their home country through some or the other possible ways then it shouldn’t be accepted. If a particular university or institution is blacklisted then authorities who govern the education system in those countries must cancel the institutions license. I agree with many of you who said “Most of the Indians are coming to US with the sole purpose to settle here”. I ask you my fellow Indians who are risking their lives and parents hard earned money to settle in some foreign nation with the name of education ? You can do must better things here in India with the semester fee you pay to a foreign University. Now many of the so called students were deported, Guess who are the true sufferers ? It is their Parents who paid for everything to fulfil their kids demand “American Dream”. Every student must question themselves before they decide to move to a foreign country, “what value I can add to myself and the nation that I am going to live ?” If your intension is to gain academic excellence then no one can stop you. If not then Think about your parents struggle and think about your future.
