So I went back and listened to Children of The Korn becausr of this video... what lyrics couldn't you quote? I don't see anything overly offensive or anything, so I'm legit curious. It sounds like a pretty good song to ne 🤷♀️
Ugghhh...my 23 year old daughter likes Avril Lavigne...maybe I should ask her opinion about this collab....maybe it'll prove that some of her music choices have sadly misfired.
If you thought this collaboration was bad, Ronnie also has a song All my Life with JellyRoll. I never thought I would say this but I think even the die hard fans didn't want Ronnie going metalcore country.
I know this is late, but here’s a few more bad collabs: Ja Rule Ft. Metallica - We Made It Falling In Reverse Ft. Jelly Roll - All My Life MGK Ft. CORPSE - DAYWALKER! MGK Ft. Jelly Roll - Lonely Road MGK Ft. Kid Rock - Bad Mofo Kid Rock Ft. Eminem - F*** Off Kid Rock Ft. Snoop Dogg - WCSR Gal Gadot Ft. a lot of other celebrities - Imagine (John Lennon cover) Korn Ft. Fred Durst - All In The Family
Hollywood Undead was my biggest musical regret of my life. The sad part is that when they didn’t put on the tough guy/frat boy act they actually had some pretty decent songs. Also, I feel like the FFDP song was probably the best song they’ve done because it isn’t a tough guy song. I still wouldn’t listen to it, but I’ll give it credit for not being traditional Five Finger Death Punch. This is coming from someone who absolutely hates their music too. 😂
As he Hollywood Undead fan, I was really not the biggest fan of their brand new album. It’s definitely very disappointing. I thought the new empire part one was good. I didn’t like part two all that much and I certainly not do not like hotel California or whatever it’s called. I’m a big fan of their dark stuff not this type of crap.
As an ex FFDP fan, This Is The Way pissed me off. I was already catching on to the bands low effort of music making when their 9th album came out. Then they announced that DMX would be featured on an unreleased collab that was done before his death in 2021 (I think, correct me if I’m wrong). So I was fooled into thinking this was just like from vol. 1 of WSOH that they did with Maria, Max, Tech 9 and Jamey. (Plus unreleased collabs with Rob Zombie and Ryan Clark of Demon Hunter) So, after all the hype and careful listening, I was ashamed to see that this was not what they were promoting it to be. They had different artists from the hip hop genre promote this thing like it was the second coming but it was no Jesus Christ. In fact, the DMX part was already a song of his that he released as a demo (again correct me if I’m wrong about that), which I will post as a reply to this comment. Death Punch just came in which the shitty chorus from their song, “judgement day”. Needless to say, I’m done with them.
It also just feels disrespectful, since they not only do the classic route on bad collabs where you be lazy and rely on a feature, but with one that passed. In other words, THEY USED A DECEASED ARTIST TO GET ATTENTION FROM THE PUBLIC.
Shitty vocals and playing fast are par for the course for NOFX, so Linewleum isn't anything different in that regard. I happen to enjoy that song and the band in general. Some don't. It is what it is.
Ohhh... should we bring Avril Lavigne and Maralin Mansons "Bad" to the rock colloseum cos I seem to remember Mark from Spectrum Pulse praising the song.
To be fair, I don't think Linewleum was supposed to be great in the mind of Fat Mike. Trying to be in Fatty's head is already a challenge. I mean at this stage of their career, it's just NOFX being NOFX. It was meant to be goofy at the time. So whatever works works. Every other collabs in this list were meant to be great, but ended up being ewwww.
The weird line from Tech N9ne about Ed Gein is what did it for me… Also he did a cover of “Mama Said Knock You Out” with Five Finger Death Punch…Wrong Side of Heaven is their best work, but that’s a skip if I listen to that album by FFDP
There really weren't that many super-collabs that worked out with rappers in the late 90's and early aughts, were there? Even as a (moderate) apologist for SFU, "One Bullet Left" is not on my list of songs to defend... Instead might I suggest a much better collab from another very heavy band, from roughly the same timeframe? You're probably already familiar with it, but Fear Factory and B-Real absolutely nailed "Back the F- Up" on the former's Digimortal album. Digimortal is not their best work, but Dino and company knew how to incorporate a rapper, while B-Real just chose collaborators better suited to rap to begin with. "(Rock) Superstar" and "Edgecrusher" in particular can be seen in hindsight as good signs for a successful creative process.
Have you heard Wake Up by Korn and Biggie, Real Thing by Cypress Hill and Pearl Jam, The Omen by DMX and MM (it’s more rap than rock but still good), Another Body Murdered by Boo Yaa Tribe and Faith No More, or Just Another Victim by Helmet and House Of Pain?
Children of the Korn is a great song and also I don't know how do you find the lyrics problematic, the lyrics are not that vulgar and it's talk about how the parents were hating Korn and basically rock music at the time.

Not digging the new collab from FIR and Jelly Roll either. 5FDP lost me with the Got Your Six album and every album since, then the departures of both Jeremy Spencer and Jason Hook.
So I went back and listened to Children of The Korn becausr of this video... what lyrics couldn't you quote? I don't see anything overly offensive or anything, so I'm legit curious. It sounds like a pretty good song to ne 🤷♀️
I bet Ozzy and Post Malone are on this list.
That song isn't as bad as others on the list.Works well live
It’s an okay song, I don’t really listen to PM but I don’t have much against him, and I heard Take What You Want and it’s alright
@@Alan-rx6is I don't like the pairing.
Supercollab!
I know this is late, but here’s a few more bad collabs:
Ja Rule Ft. Metallica - We Made It
Falling In Reverse Ft. Jelly Roll - All My Life
MGK Ft. CORPSE - DAYWALKER!
MGK Ft. Jelly Roll - Lonely Road
MGK Ft. Kid Rock - Bad Mofo
Kid Rock Ft. Eminem - F*** Off
Kid Rock Ft. Snoop Dogg - WCSR
Gal Gadot Ft. a lot of other celebrities - Imagine (John Lennon cover)
Korn Ft.
Super Collab
🙏
Hardy is when you get Kid Rock from WISH
That's a terrifying comparison.
@@RockedNet but very true
@@kyleholland-standup9365to be fair, Kid Rock makes Hardy look like Kurt Cobain in comparison
And that is saying A LOT
Follow the Leader is one of the best Korn albums of all time next to Life is Peachy and self titled
(Plus unreleased collabs with Rob Zombie and Ryan Clark of Demon Hunter)
So, after all the hype and careful listening, I was ashamed to see that this was not what they were promoting it to be.

Super collab lol
🙏
The Avril song being written by Chad makes sense... If you look at some of Nickelback's songs. They have more than a few raunchy songs 🤨😳😬🤣
Ohhh... should we bring Avril Lavigne and Maralin Mansons "Bad" to the rock colloseum cos I seem to remember Mark from Spectrum Pulse praising the song.
Fight the Power by KoRn and Xzibit from XXX: State of the Union. I kinda dig it but you gotta admit it’s not great. 😅😅
It’s far from perfect, but it’s not bad enough to be on a list like this
I mean I liked linewlium 😂 I thought it was fun
To be fair, I don't think Linewleum was supposed to be great in the mind of Fat Mike. Trying to be in Fatty's head is already a challenge. I mean at this stage of their career, it's just NOFX being NOFX. It was meant to be goofy at the time. So whatever works works.
Every other collabs in this list were meant to be great, but ended up being ewwww.
Super collab
🙌
Damn, i really enjoy Children of the Korn
I’ve never had a collab before. Can I get a super collab? 🤘🏻🤘🏻
🙌
👏👏👏👏👏
Just to Let you guys know Falling In Reverse did a new song All my life ft. Jelly Roll and it's so CRINGE and so BAD
It's so much worse than Ronald lol
Anything ronald touches turns into trash
This news is really making me question Jelly Roll's decisions.
@@merlercer it makes Ronald look like Under Pressure by Queen
And that says a LOT
I was screaming it from the mountaintops when it was getting praise.... RONALD SUCKS!
I like the Avril-Marilyn Manson song and I thought she sang it well but yeah,it hasn't aged well.
The weird line from Tech N9ne about Ed Gein is what did it for me…
Also he did a cover of “Mama Said Knock You Out” with Five Finger Death Punch…Wrong Side of Heaven is their best work, but that’s a skip if I listen to that album by FFDP
🙏
Have you heard Wake Up by Korn and Biggie, Real Thing by Cypress Hill and Pearl Jam, The Omen by DMX and MM (it’s more rap than rock but still good), Another Body Murdered by Boo Yaa Tribe and Faith No More, or Just Another Victim by Helmet and House Of Pain?
Soup or collab
🙌
Hollywood Undead still existed in 2023?
alex terrible?! Why is alex terrible on a FIR song? What(or who) convinced him to do it?
Metallica collabs with ja rule and lou reed respectively
I know who will never be on this list…
Ronnie Radke
MGK sucks too
The Avril/Marilyn Manson song wasn't cringey for me, it was boring. Auto-tuned to death and no chemistry between the artists. Blah, just blah.
Children of the Korn is a great song and also I don't know how do you find the lyrics problematic, the lyrics are not that vulgar and it's talk about how the parents were hating Korn and basically rock music at the time.
What about Blink-182 and Lil Wayne lol
