Here’s another update-this time on the billion-dollar land rush at Wellness Way that's set to transform Central Florida: th-cam.com/video/YXf_8mGxI9A/w-d-xo.html
I first discovered Orlando in 1971 while on a cross-country bicycle tour. Going through Downtown I saw in the distance cattle grazing. What a difference a few years make.
Jared, the Ocoee section of your video had lots of glitches. Could you please record another segment on this or fix the glitches? We live near there and would love to know the full story of upcoming additions to the community. Love your channel!
Thanks for the update 👍🏽 gotta say though, extended parking at MCO? So disappointed and what a waste. It’s been very evident from the public the desire to extend the sun rail directly into the airport for years. City officials really need to stop decorating and/or “revamping” these areas when there’s no efficient infrastructure to access/enjoy these places. The allocation of funds is just disappointing year after year.
@@Green_Ninja325absolutley correct. I live right by Vinoy park and Helen had us under 7 feet of water. I have a picture of me standing on a cars roof and water is up to the mirrors. Zero barrier islands or levees in the area. The city is great but the disaster planning, well, disastrous.
Doesn't sound too great, more homelessness, more traffic, very little businesses. You can't have growth without business. Orlando downtown is mainly law offices, bars, and a slim selection of restaurants. There's really no attraction to bring in tourists. This would be great if you want to just maintain a suburban area for residences; but if you want a robust downtown, you would have to attract more than just rest areas, parks, and bars.
Ahh the 15 minute city, places for people to gather until the next lockdown, more concrete that will undoubtedly help with flooding. Great plans, pity people have no money to spend in the retail and dining units.
SMH…1.4 billion into rental cars instead of reliable public transport (trains, streetcars) for tourists to get to popular destinations. This is not an upgrade.
The new homeless laws and the new Orlando police homeless task force make a little more sense now. I have lived in Orlando for 27 years. You are going to have to relocate a lot of homeless people to make some of the projects work.
There is a black trash problem in Orlando. I live North and have NO DESIRE to be harassed for money and threatened by crime. The trash river is Colonial from the North and South dumping downtown. Has Orlando finally figured out that leaving the trash on the street doesn´t attract tourist dollars.

First they have to fix the homeless issue in Downtown. Otherwise all those areas will be trash within months
I agree a 100% with you. The homeless population keeps growing but don't want to fix .
Don’t forget the homeless forest camps
@@Izadirad1995Yup, SR50 has a tent city right at the Econ bridge.
These look amazing! Thank you for this video.

Checkout St Petersburg Florida, great urban street grid very well planned city
The recent hurricanes have devastated that area. Tons of flooded houses being sold As Is. I have friends in the area.

So a 15 minute city... got it.
Boom. Facts.
Does the funding include more police officers? I see a lot of safety and security issues🤔

Brevard county, take notes, don't let hotels steal the parks.
Can't afford Orlando no more. Home prices too high 😢😢😢😢
"You are going to be blown away..." by the next hurricane I think is far more likely.
Orlando is pretty tame in the hurricane dept. Thx for the comment
Cue the flood.
7th busiest in the USA.
Next level people watching here.. :)
Your video is breaking up pretty bad around the time you are talking about Ocoee.
Great, let make the traffic worse than what it is already
Helicopter pads will be a growing need for some homeowners to get to work on time!
They're just creating new homeless spots
The homeless gunna live these areas 😂😂
Thanks so much for the comment!
Sounds like Orlando plans on creating a lot of low paying jobs. Good thing area has a low cost of living.
Ha.. Good one!
Yea nothing low cost about Orlando, speaking from current experience
Republicans can afford this?
