Fun fact bout Big Iron: Marty Robins wrote Big Iron after seeing a modified/Bubbad 1873 Single Action Army revolver that someone had put a cut down Henry lever action hexagonal barrel on to it. The real Big Iron was cursed.

Volare was just adapted by Dean Martin. The creator and singer of the song is Domenico Modugno. Also, close, but it's pronounced Voh-lah-reh. Italian pronounces vowels in one single sound, rather than "ay-ee-eye-ou-yu" it's "ah-eh-ih-oh-uh"
In my opinion Johnny Guitar plays WAY TOO MUCH. in doc Mitchell’s I got it back to back to back. It’s not catchy to me and forgettable. But when you’re in a gunfight with viper raiders or death claws etc and you hear “big iron” you go all cowboy mode and start going gung ho😂 at least for me I lose what little care for the opponent I have and just start AP headshotting everyone 😂😂 I love big iron honestly and can listen to it for hours but Johnny guitar I’m good on forever after hearing it once a play through 😂
For the last 2 or 3 years, i would always play the fallout games with no music or radio and really get immersed in the game, the ambience track is really cool
I sometimes stand on the northernmost part of Nellis and let out a sigh knowing that Area 51 is only 80 miles away. It always felt that it was a missed opportunity. Before you complain about the distance. The Courier has hoofed all the way to Zion which is 151 miles from Vegas.
I believe that's probably why they had Old World Blues a pre war secret U.S nightmare in the middle of the desert but not as satisfying as a name drop but they also had extreme time restraints
@TheGoldenMan888 it's not a meme. It's a legit insult back then. Julius Cesar was constantly insulted at any, and each occasion by his political rivals straight until his assassination. And only bc when he was young, he was on diplomatic mission in another country and lived there slightly longer than was deemed necessary for his mission. Neither Ancient Rome nor Greece weren't LGBT friendly whatsoever. That is, unless you consider boiled hot turnip up in your ass as a foreplay.
Hi Norte 👋 thanks for all your awesome lore videos! I especially love watching yours because they're very well put together and you don't forget the isometric games ❤️
Another reason Big Iron might play twice as often besides the bug, is that its a longer song than most others you would hear on country radio stations, and radio hosts would put it on whenever they would go to the bathroom. I believe my grandma told me that when she was surprised I knew the song. Kinda funny when you find out every radio station is either automated or controlled by an AI
Great job with this video, I actually did learn a few things! I was surprised. I watched with the expectation of hearing nothing new, but wanted to appreciate your work on this part anyway, but you exceeded expectation once again lol Thanks for the hard work and great content 👍
Buddy, I have a mint-condition New Vegas Collector's Edition (PS3 version) here, so if you really want that deck of cards, I am sure we can come to an agreement. I accidentally ordered that version of the game twice back in the day and decided to keep one of them sealed and even in its original Amazon carton.
Ulysses is the most annoying character, I really hate how he is basically crowbar’d into the main game and then his motivation is literally “shoot the messenger”
Thank you. It's good to know I'm not the only one who hates Ulysses. That guy is so annoying and is written like a pseudo intellectual. I don't understand why anyone even likes him.

Personally I love what they did with Ulysses. As a DLC character. Yeah he would have been cool as a companion but I think he's a lot more cooler as a character and mysterious in the DLCs. And I really don't care for the criticism there's no character that will willingly sign with the legion. People forget about Raul that literally says that the legion was the best thing that happened to Mexico. But yeah I love you this is either way I just prefer how he is in the game now than what we could have gotten. I also love that he's a playing card personally one of my favorites

Playing without the radio, trying not to wake my parents up is what made New Vegas particularly spooky and downright terrifying to me at like 13 years old; imagine playing this game in near silence at 1 in the morning. It's a fucking horror game, I remember quitting right around the quest at novac involving the invisible nightkin for what I feel like are obvious reasons 😂
Obsidian seems to have the entire card deck on sale on their Amazon page for the low cap but slightly expensive if we're using pre-war money but hey a $199 deck of official Fabulous New Vegas Playing Cards.
I figured you'd get a kick out of this! When you first mentioned the killer glowing bloatfly, there was an unexpected ad-break that was promoting pesticides 😅

The issue of homosexuallity is something I feel Bethesda got completely wrong with Fallout 4. I don't have anything against it and being to romance someone like Cait, whether you are playing as a male or female would be fine but I think certain companions, like Piper or McCready should be straight and the maximum level of affinity should be that of "best friends", where they declare that after what you have done for them, they are willing to stand by your side no matter what but as for them being in a homosexual relationship with them, with certain companions it just feels wrong and weird.
