As an actual cosmetologist I’ve seen a lot of “tips” for skincare but this is actually very accurate, totally agree with everything valeria said, also skincare by hyram is very accurate if you’re looking for more skincare tips (products and stuff)😌
Hey Valeria♡ I know this is not related to the video, but I wanted to thank you soo much for your work. You're truly making this world a better place!♥️ A few videos back you said something along the lines of: focus on becoming your own 100% and then find someone who is their 100% and together conquer the world... Thank you for sharing that!! In the last few weeks I struggled with that topic and it helped so much! I feel like a lot of young women have grown up in the belief that they are just a mere half and can't be complete without someone else; and that is not true. If we focus on ourselves, on connecting to our own inner goddess and believing in our power, happiness and completion is bound to come! thx Val😘
Can you do a video on sunscreens you recommend. I'm trying to find one that isn't super expensive (like under $20) and not oily?! I really want to use sunscreen but I can't find one that doesn't make me look shiny!! Please help!!
Elta MD - specifically the one for acne prone skin - it contains niacinamide which is great for acne. I’ve always had issues with sunscreen (they all make me breakout) except this one! I don’t have acne prone skin, mine is hormonal or stress related and very rarely occurs, and I have combination skin. So even with having relatively good skin I would always break out with sunscreen. I moved back to humid south Florida from Nashville, TN, so let me tell you: my esthetician in Nashville recommended it and my new esthetician in FL recommends it - MY SKIN DOES TOO LOL. One thing I will say is you will break out a bit for the first couple of weeks because your skin has to get used to it. My skin got used to it, and voila... no breakouts. I will add that you should NOT use the tinted one. I tried that first and my skin would not get used it. Also, it was kinda oily/ greasy looking and feeling. So just stick with the version for acne prone skin. It’s a little over your budget average is $30 but IT’S WORTH IT.
And to add, I’m 28 years old and have tried every sunscreen in gods green earth. I will say that another I found right when I discovered the Elta MD was a sunscreen by La Roche Posey (like 50 spf too), and I liked that one too! I didn’t notice any breakouts for the month I used it, but then I switched so I can’t say much for the long run lol.
Hi :) I've been using ISDN Fusion Water SPF since last summer and it's amazing!! I have oily skin and it works great for me, it's the first non oily sunscreen I've found and I love it. Hope that helps :)
sunscreeeeeeeeen nothing made more of a difference than sunscreen everyday! ok maybe retinol did, but other than that...we need to stop telling teenagers stupid things like to dry out their oily skin, or that the sun takes away acne.
@@li82li that’s the hard thing about sunscreen, it that we’re supposed to wear it and not expect any instant results 😂🤦♀️ it’s preventative more than anything 😁
@@li82li I had a lot of blemishes left from acne and although I was treating them they were healing slower than I would've liked, so I started wearing sunscreen indoors too and reapplied it every 2-3 hours everydy and it helped with the scaring massively!!!!
To anyone reading this, I hope you’re feeling well and having a lovely day! Stay safe and remember to keep smiling in these weird times, sending lots of love from a small TH-camr❤️
Valeria, I just wanted to say I appreciate the positivity that shines through all your videos! I’d love to see an update on your favourite perfumes / perfume oils ( I remember you shared some in one of your favourites videos a few years ago). 💕
Valeria you're like an older sister, I always listen to your precious tips about every aspect of life, whether it's skincare or relationships and self esteem. Thank you! From Italy 🇮🇹 💕
I wear sunscreen like every time i go out But i always get so shiny even if i use powder and I’m already using matt sunscreen Does anyone have any advise
Thank you for the tips! I needed to hear this. I personally have been struggling a lot with breakouts from wearing face masks all the time.. Would be grateful for tips on that!
Literally same, I'm the one skincare addict of all my friends all my life. They have had effortless skin and per that have been in ignorant bliss not even doing the basics all their lives. Second a wrinkle or issue pops up they run to me to suddenly give a dam to actually listen to my advice and get me to help them build routines which they always seemed nonsense prior lol.
You are very right about wearing sunscreen. Why I do not wear it all year round is because I feel like it is too greasy and I get more break outs. Do you have any recommendations for SPF for your face? Thank you!
Hello Valeria! I absolutely love your skincare videos. Thank you so much for this video. I was so thrilled when you posted this. Your skin is so very beautiful and you seem to get younger as the years go by. You are an incredible beauty. Love you so much Valeria!💘 Love,Janice and Larry Watson
I was completely mistake-free until the fifth... cleaning brushes is something I always forget and I've never did - not even tried - facial exercises. Thank you for teaching these stuff to us!
I love that these are all in one video! I’ve picked up doing all of these from a few different people who focus on just one of these topics at a time but this is great as a higher level overview!!! Thanks for sharing, the one I’m missing from my routine is the facial exercise which I am trying tonight!
I love how you approached the facial exercises one, another thing that I do is when I'm taking off my makeup I try to use only upwards movements, this way I hope I'm compensating for the facial exercises I rarely do 😂 Great tips Valeria, thank you so much!
For the excersice part it is prooved that the sagging of the skin on face is produced not because there is more skin with age or the skin is less elastic, but because muscles shrink and become shorter and the skin now has less superficie/space to be extended on that't why it appears as sagging skin, but you can elongate muscles with certain excercises , it works for all face: sagging beard, neck, for example sagging eyelids are caused by frowning the eyebrows by moving them closer to each other - the muscles are strengten and shortened with regular frowning
I absolutely adore your skincare videos. Please do more of them! 💕 And don't you break out using oil on your face everyday? Thank you for all your tips!
Hi Valeria! For the suncream, do you put some only on the morning before your makeup or do you put some back 4-5 hours after your first application? Thanks a lot!
Congratulations Valeria, this video is really a treasure! Have you tried Mario Badescu products? The drying lotion and the face mist are really good! 👌 One thing I would consider important to mention is that we don't always look at the expire symbols of the products. Maybe not all of us can understand the 6M, 12M etc that is written on the products.
Tips : 1.Using 2 fingers of moisturizer on the face 2.Letting 10 or more minutes in between my skincare steps ( like retinol ,wait a lil bit, moisturizer) 3.Always washing my hands before touching my face 4. Don't overuse too many products
Thanks a lot, my skin is not ok at this time, and I needed these tips !!! Thank you again!!! This is my first comment on your channel and I'm glad to meet you Mrs. Valeria !!❤️ ❤️ Love from Greece 🇬🇷!!
Ok! Thank you for sharing.. now i have learnt about the different season skin care though i use essence oil and extra mosturizer during the winter. 👳♀️💜🦄 but no wander why during a specific season i get tiny bumps on my face no matter if i follow my skin care religiously.. lots of love to your fam at home and at work from india. 💜🤗
me living in Brasil watching you talk about changing your skincare according to the season: *what the heck is "seasons" anyways??"*. Hahaha, jk, but here in Rio, where I live, we really only have 'summer', 'cause normal temperature is like, 35 degrees Celsius or more! So, yep, we don't do a lot of rotation around skincare hahaha.
I feel like people forget to ensure their hands are clean between each step, also waiting a minute between each step in the routine. The left over residue on your fingures can interact with the next product you use and potentially be harmful/ increase risk of acne to the skin.
Would be cool if you could talk about what a healthy sex life looks like. I know from speaking to men that through looking at pornography sexual encounters become very one way. There is pressure for women to conform to degrading treatment. I know it's different from what you normally do but I think it's very relevant and will add a lot of value to womens' lives to hear your take on it given your relationship is one of respect, from what I can see. Thanks
Valeria talking about sunscreen Me: Oh, I'm a good girl, all my bb-creams contain SPF ☺️ Valeria: foundation with SPF is NOT ENOUGH Me: 😨 Well, okay, I'll use my moisturizer with SPF then Valeria: moisturizer with SPF is NOT ENOUGH Me: 😭😭😭

This video was great👍🙂 What I have learnt from a few dermatologists on youtube is that you should wash your face for a whole minute! It does make a difference.🤓
Mistakes
1. Not changing skincare routine and product according to season

4. Exfoliating too much
5. Not cleaning makeup brushes

Càn u do a skincare guide for someone who is just starting. Like can u mention small steps that we can begin with.❤️
Start with a simple routine: cleanser, moisturizer and spf. I recommend following Hyram, Cassandra Bankson or Dr. Dray.
also follow james welsh
Could you make plz a second part of 'external validation' ?
