Dragon Ball Z: "Heroic Trunks" - Rakeem's Re-Make

- Alright then! IT'S OVER! One of my favorite tracks of all time!
For my younger audience who may have missed DBZ during the Toonami days, this track was written by Mike Smith for an awesome promo that showcased Trunks for the first time! With seizure inducing bright lights flashing his name, this was the perfect promo to show off this new character.
Now, as I've said plenty of times, I started watching DBZ in 2002 at the very beginning of the Majin Buu Saga so I missed the original introduction of Trunks on TV. However, during that same time period, an old friend had the entire Trunks boxset of VHS tapes and he would bring them over for us to watch so I had seen this promo about a bajillion times! I could not get enough of it! This is how you introduce a character flawlessly. Back when people cared deeply about making every aspect of a show perfect!

This track itself never plays anywhere within the actual show. Trunks' melody plays here and there throughout the show in different ways but this track specifically never does.
Scott Morgan (one of my biggest inspirations and one of the four musical legends who worked on the show) has said that when Trunks came out, the American production wanted it not to seem like Trunks was a hero yet. However, this promo had all of the makings of a hero so I don't know what they were on. He was bad but he was definitely a hero!
This track always gives me chills and so still does the promo itself even after all this time! The timing of the phrases to the music, the screams, the production, the lights! All of it is literally perfect! All promos should watch and learn from this master of all promos!

I remember seeing that Trunks promo on Cartoon Network back in the day. I remember everyone at school was hyped, because it kinda spoiled that Frieza was going to come to Earth.
