The most complete film of 2019. Deserves best picture and will be remembered for many years by film fans and the film community in general. Can't say the same for most of the other best picture nominees.

The backlash is towards the attitude of Collider this year, usually it has nothing to do with the exact video itself. I think that most of us agree that all of FYC is just great.
@@twotonkatrucks Well they basically stopped producing all the movie talks and jedi councils and whatnot that made Collider famous and beloved at the first place in the benefit of more commercial (and possibly more profitable) approach. And obviously it hurt a lot of fans feelings.
Bong Joon Ho really did a breakthru I was surprised a film like that came deep and strong out of a society like Korea, a society that is quite hierachial with classes and groups quite categorized. I hope his film with its being greatly recognized will ring the Korean mindset, to be less judgemental, less classified
