never realized before but the front of the Flying Dutchman from the Pirates of the Carribean movies looks like the front of the Vasa
Maybe the inspiration came from the VASÁ ship...
becuse thats the same ship but reworked to look more scary

It is original, they took it from the water. About 98% is original and about 2% material added during restoration process.
It sank but they were able to discover in the late 50's. I think you can still find the videos online when they took it out from the water...
