Guys please remember to do a quick visual check of all the connection points on the charger and adapters. There are a lot more points of failure with adapters. Make sure pins are straight, not discolored and it’s free of any debris. Keep the adapter in a case by itself at all times when not in use. Happy charging.
Breaking news: the NACS adapter I ordered for my Bolt EUV showed up this afternoon! In spite of the different part number and the drawing showing a Lectron, the one I received is an official Tesla adapter
Excellent demonstration. A2Z would be my first choice but VW can't charge at Tesla yet so I'll wait and see on the adapters in 2025. The nearest useful Tesla superchargers is only Version 2 and therefore not compatible.
Some bolt users got a Lectron style adapter. Folks who ordered the adapter but became out of stock are on a waiting list. Folks who ordered later on when the Lectron one was known out of stock, the order system changed to a Tesla style adapter. Today the Bolt users who were on the waiting list for adapters got shipping notifications but no one knows which mfg those are right now.
I'm one who was on the backorder list after ordering the one that looked like lectron (the morning it became available). I just picked up the part from the dealer and it's the Tesla one.
I ordered the adapter for my bolt through the Chevy app and it showed the lectron in the picture. But I just picked it up and it's the Tesla one. Just fyi that you may not get the one the picture shows.
Still waiting for GM adaptor here in Canada. Hopefully show up next month but they aren’t cheap. $325 plus taxes I believe. I had ordered a Lectron and then cancelled my order as I was scared GM wouldn’t cover warranty repairs if the vehicle had any issues related to electrical.
Should be soon. The 2025 Ioniq 5 will have the NACS port native, so issue it will be just before those go to dealers. They have already built the first production car in the Us.
Thanks for reaching out! These adapters will not work with your car unfortunately, nor will Tesla superchargers. You are going to want to use J1772 plugs. These are available at some places. I’m not sure if the Jeep infotainment shows you where these locations are or not? If not, Plugshare is an app that can help out. Another option is to use Tesla Destination chargers. The plug looks like a supercharger, but it goes to a small typically gray, black, or white unit. In order to use that you would need an adapter. Below is a link to one! You can get this one or find something similar. A2Z and Lectron are very reliable and safe to use! I really appreciate you commenting and intend on making a video about this topic for people in your situation. For home you will want a NACS to J1772 adapter. For the supercharger your need NACS to CCS1. I was surprised to find out that ALL the Tesla superchargers aren't open to non-Tesla EV's. I didn't know that before trading my Tesla for a Equinox EV. Not a huge deal, but I was surprised.
There are enough where it truly isn't an issue. The V2 aren't compatible. It appears that many of the sites with V3 and V2 present are the ones that aren't available to avoid confusion!
I can confirm as a Chevy Bolt owner, I recently got the Tesla approved adapter from GM. It works great.

Totally agree!
@@theaverageevyep, you don’t want something from a bad charge head that gets stuck to the adapter, frying every charger you try to connect to!😅
Thanks for the clear description of the function of different adapters
I have a 23 bolt euv and just recently got the Tesla approved adapter

Volvo and Polestar just got access.
That’s why I posted this one a few days early 😁
Poostar? I was a poostar when I was potty training
good job

I have a Bolt and they sent the Tesla adapter. Got it today.
I've used the A2Z adapter on my Equinox EV and it works wonderfully.
I love my Lectron Vortex 🔌
Lectron works great, A2Z is just more natural to use if that makes any sense!

Any idea when Hyundai will be online?

I have a J1772 plug for my Jeep wrangler 4xe, I am New To this e-world so can anyone help me with what to do?

I have a Tesla charger as a home charger, but I am trading it in for an Audi Q6. What adapter can I use for level 2 NACS to CC1?

How do you stop charging from inside the Equinox EV? I didn't see a stop charging button.
It's in the lightning bolt icon (charging screen), but it's only visible while actively DC fast charging.
@ thanks!
Thanks for helping!!!

its literally like the first line of all the announcements....
@ it really didn’t matter anyway. I don’t plan on road tripping this EV.
