Please keep in mind those side chargers are the only ones Tesla's hauling trailers can use. Please use those side ones as a last resort if you can. It's frustrating to pull up with a trailer and a Tesla with no trailer is using the side supercharger with 7 other open regular superchargers. Thanks!
I think the people did not read directions. I did and forgot over the day and was like hmm then felt the bottom button and remembered. No issues but I need to setup the plug and charge. Is that on the Tesla side or the ford side?
Plug and charged is on the Ford side in the Ford Pass app. But, if you have a Tesla subscription you'll need to leave Plug and Charge off or you won't get your discounted rate.
I noticed you told another commenter about a "discounted rate" for the "plug and charge" feature. I saw that to charge your F150 Lightning it cost you nearly $30. I've been driving Teslas for 7 years now and I think the most I ever paid for charging at a Supercharger was about $24 and my battery was at 7% and I charged it to full on a road trip. Normally, it costs me between $10 to $15 to charge at a Supercharger if I'm not less than 20%. Guess you guys in non-Tesla vehicles must be paying a bit more than Tesla users to purchase your electrons. Is that right?
If you don’t have a membership, you pay considerably more. With the membership, I think pricing is pretty close to Tesla owners. I’ve had three in the past. The main difference is the size of the battery. The lightning has a 131kw pack, much larger than the teslas so it takes longer and costs more.
Glad it all worked fine for you! Can't wait for my EV manufacturer to be given the adapter green light.
Great video. Thanks. I’m really wanting a lightning. That adapter looks like it works great.
Good review. Thank you!
Great review and info!

@@whateverfits1978 Oh, I hadn't taken the battery size into account. That makes sense. Thanks for the info.
I drive a Tesla. Other car companies Get your own charge station. This is wrong. You guys trash the charge stations with your garbage 🗑️
