Like the video. I have looked at an st200, I purchased the st3 instead partly due to the colour and the fact it's the same car underneath but a little cheaper. Take it from me the mp215 kit from Mountune is well worth it!
such a shame, the new model isn't half as good looking...
Best part about Mountune is, in 2017 they're releasing an even more powerful stage for the FiST, around 280 HP.

I purchased one 2 months ago great amount of fun especially upgraded from the black edition. Planning on getting it remapped to 300bhp with pumaspeed now ;)
Mountune MP215 is same power as 200 - still 212 BHP on overboost.
And as a full equipment car the standard ST + mountune kit was more expensive than the ST200. But they are both great cars. These cars are FUNcars. Would not switch to a BMW M4, would only switch to the lightweight class ala caterham and Lotus. And i would not switch from a standard ST to the ST200. But if you habe to decide between both and just need a new car, i would go for the ST200
Didnt even mention rear parking camera, exclusive stitched seats, exclusive alloys.....fucks sake.
You need to check your stats. It isn't 32 BHP more as the standard model has 198 BHP in overboost. You can add a Mountune upgrade with Mountune springs for about 900 quid and then you get equal performance without having to buy one that looks like it has been painted in emulsion. Personal choice I suppose.
I bought one of these brand new to replace an ST225 which I still have and I love it.....one thing I noticed was back pain straight away which thankfully I'm not getting anymore....anyone else think the steering wheel is slightly off centre?

Problem with the fiesta is that it's so common. Doesn't help either that the exhaust is pretty dull.

I've got a 2010 Fiesta with the ST body kit but only a 1.6 90 hp diesel engine but I still get a lot of head turns because its preety uncommon here in Croatia :P
I know what you mean, and most are driven buy teenagers or women. I still love mine regardless but after 2 years fun it is going in a couple of months.

No, you can buy a bone stock ST and modify it to be significantly faster / more power for less than the price of admission to the ST200
@@MegamanGaming the 200 will hold its value a lot better, it’s already more expensive to buy than a standard like for like st than the initial new price and that gap will keep going up fo good cars.
As always a great and passionate review from you, i`m not saying its a bad car but 23k for what is already an out dated run out model when you can get a Peugeot sport 208 GTI with a true limited slip diff, no contest..

It should have the all wheel drive system and an 8inch infotainment plus brembo 4piston calipers up front to justify that money . I think ford is cashing in on the sucess of the st and just waiting what fool will rush to buy this
To expensive. Mine ST180 was a lot cheaper to buy, and 900 pounds later with a Peron tune it has 230 HP, all the time. Still better value for money ;-)

Brought a pre reg st200 2 months old with 16 mls on the clock for less than a st3 so no brainer to me also peeps who talk about the polo gti and pug 208 gti if it's a real warm hatch you'd buy a fiesta St as in the 180 model is still quicker around almost every track in the UK USA and south Africa just git too to laff at the Ford haters out there really.

Added a K&N Panel Filter and a bluefin remap for £300

Im not sure how to add pictures to comments on TH-cam but found the picture from last year. Was 221.6 BHP and 308Nm of torque to be more exact. 98 fuel @ 15degree celsius. Was very impressed with a stock car and little money put into it. Would love to do exhaust and intercooler upgrades to see if i could hit 240 bhp.
I was looking for a little car with some cheap power, mk2 audi tt plus a AMD remap =260bhp, alot cheaper, better made, better interior, more gadgets n plus looks better

Great acting, needs to be a Ferrari to make you scream not a Fiesta, jesus, how much are Ford paying you. The best hot hatch is either the grippy and sturdy Leon / ibiza cupra or the thrilling Peugeot 208 gti.

*Ya. If you buy a Corolla, it holds value pretty good. My dad bought one used many years ago. He owned it for about 5 years, cleaned it up and was able to sell it for only $500 cheaper than what he got it for.*
AYEM8 This is a limited edition so only time will tell if it will depreciate massively over time it could hold its value rare Ford's do it, look at the mk2 RS. Even higher end cars largely depreciate over time I mean look at the previous version of the Audi s3 and the BMW M3 both have dropped price loads.
*Nah, unless it's JDM like an ITR, NSX, R34, etc. The depreciation will be great. Cars like STi and S2000, only JDM fanboys would still pay a lot for them. American and European cars don't usually have a cult following like that, so their crowd simply just move on and place their value on the newer more current models. Unless you're a wealthy car collector who would pay huge sum for super rare cars in limited production like the Reventón or F40, etc. Then those cars actually appreciate.*
AzNightmare No one knows yet although they're only making a thousand and I mean look at the mk2 RS 500 that was limited edition and has shot up in price I've seen examples of it for over £40,000. Even the normal mk2 RS is holding and increasing in value.
I'd say fast fords do have their large following at least here in the UK, from magazines like fast ford, and performance ford to silverstone and santa pod events like ford fair and ford fest. Where you see loads of classic cars that have shot up from original price.
Obviously not as big as the JDM scene but still.
It all depends on how well received the new 2018 fiesta ST is. If it's not as good as the old model, people will look to buy the current ST version, making the ST200 more valuable over time
the gearbox in these are shite...really prone to missing third gear when shifting up from second hard
