I have been a fan of all things Agatha Christie ever since I can remember. And, David Suchet is the ultimate Poirot for me. But? I have to say that I enjoyed Peter Sallis as Poirot in this one 💕

If people watching this who were not familiar with Peter Salis they would not make such remarks.He was more than just Wallis of Wallis and Gromit or Clegg of Last of the Summer Wine,excellent as he was in those.I thought he was excellent in this production.

I super enjoyed this. But I’m spoiled to other actors. As far as I know this was the only time Mr Sellers did Poirot.

I agree, Peter Sallis was a fine actor on stage and screen but he didn't quite capture the role or the accent here. He sounds as if he's about to suggest that they all get into a supermarket trolley and roll down a big hill...
