Using that on the glass mirrors and then buffing it out will help repel water

Be very careful spraying the dash as it might not be watertight. Moto-Guzzi (another Piaggio product) is known for getting moisture under the glass on the dash. I use detail sprays too, but I like spray wax as well as they leave a layer of protection. I use plexiglass cleaner for my windshields-don’t use glass cleaner on plexiglass.
