Based on Exit Mundi's "YUK!" and my short Grain Age.
Hello, everyone! I hope you enjoyed this scenario I made. Grain Age, to this day, remains one of my favorite EAS Shorts of all time, and I figured it deserved it's own full scenario that kinda branches out. I've loved Exit Mundi's scenarios, and it's one of my biggest inspirations for Scenarios. Heck, Tilt and Dim the Lights were based on that site's scenarios.
But yea, I hope you all enjoyed this scenario.

While there are many actual serious problems an overabundance of grain would cause, like soil depletion and messing up water tables and dealing with the massive amounts of spoiled, unusable product that would result from it, I do appreciate taking the more immediate and slightly silly route of "oh no it's growing too fast and now it's _on fire_, aw heck we're doomed!"
The burning does erase the fact of the spoils being a hazard, but it did make mexico uninhabitable so +0.5 for realism.
@@Dimewise_R I dunno about erasing the hazard, more like transforming it into a different hazard by way of all the smoke and ash being put into the atmosphere by such a huge area of burning material. It'd likely be enough to affect global temperatures for an extended period of time, which brings a whole new set of problems.
Well... at least world hunger is solved...

I live in Colorado and as soon as I heard the four corners was on fire I was like "wtf"

Quite an unusual ending but a memorable one nonetheless.
I love how almost every scenario is set in the west
well wheat can't grow on water can it?
Well that's because most creators and most of the audience members are english speaking and the west has the biggest concentration of countries with English as at least a secondary language.

The Alberta Emergency Alert wasn't launched until October 2011.
Honestly, It was a pretty good scenario, I like how most of the world is covered in wheat and it’s like a different type of dangerous thing. Overall this was a good video and hopefully this never happens in real life.
tbh i expected the September 2, 2010 part to be exactly the same as the Grain Age video
wouldn't make sense to cultivate this massive amount of wheat and solve world hunger with it
there's way tooo much wheat, besides we don't even know if the grain is edible, and it prolly isn't, besides with this much grain the mills and silos would be overrun, so we couldn't just make it all into bread
And for those who can't have wheat due to allergies or sensitivity, it would be even worse because what could you eat?
I thought this is about grain contaminated with fungus that turns people into rabid creatures just like what happened in "The Last of Us".. Just jumping into this video, i guess it isn't (maybe....)
The fire hazards were probably from Riggy from Toonville, destroying the entire city, then comes to life in real life, and then proceeds to destroy everything.

I live in Arizona, and my first thought went something like this: HOW THE HELL CAN SHIT GROW HERE- you can pretty much almost cook on the sidewalk here
I personally think it was pretty funny at first with the TTS voices were somewhat talking in a sort-of storyboard that kind of follows through the video, but it's more of a team of "voices" to figure out this problem. Great job on it! Gotta say, it was funny at the ending part, but with skill, you know? 👍👍
NGL, when I saw colorado listed, my mind first went to wildly growing pot. Especially when the fires were mentioned.

In all honesty, I think this scenario would be scarier if the grain was growing in the orifices of humans (and animals too).
