Fuck I miss Layne. When I watch AIC videos I rock out, playing my guitar and singing along, eventually getting choked up when thinking I'll never see him again. No more concerts or new songs. Same for Kurt, Chris Cornell, Scott Weiland, Shannon Hoon... Such tragedy to have them lose to their addictions, most SO young 🥺 Layne had such a unique and amazing voice Scott was one of the best front men of all time (my opinion). How they can only declare an opiate crisis so recently when Seattle and Vancouver BC have seen so many lose their lives decades earlier is just beyond me. So very sad
The first time I saw Alice was at Toads place in CT.I was there to see Nuno and after that show my life changed directions After seeing Alice.I was 16 at the time and was blown away by that show.I met Jerry and Layne at the hotel and will be something I'll never forget.
