The phone need is my biggest con re the Mobi. This is also a reason i moved from DIY Loop/AAPS to Tslim, which is completely autonomous. But my plan is to have Dex connection to the watch (it also drops out a lot) and use the manual bolus button on the pump if I don't have the phone with me. Will see.
Yes, this is definitely the biggest complaint I am hearing about the Mobi. I’m really interested in giving DIY Loop a go myself. Besides the need for a phone, do you have any other complaints about it? I’m overwhelmed with the setup process, but I still think it’s worth a shot for me.
Jillian, I truly appreciate your posts on the Mobi. Yes, it’s me…Lisa with the air bubbles. I’ve been on the Mobi for almost 2 months. Although I absolutely love the small size, I am going to return it to Tandem and go back to the t-slim. I cannot handle being tied to my phone. I need controls directly on my pump. I am sad, but cannot rely on using my phone for controlling my insulin pump. Thank you for your wonderful videos!
Hi, my friend! I understand! It's not for everyone. Like I said, you become COMPLETELY reliant on your phone and that can be scary for some. I find the Mobi to be very convenient for my lifestyle, but I understand the drawbacks for you. I'm glad you are sticking with Tandem! I hope you continue to enjoy my content. I have an exciting series I am working on--I promise its not Mobi related!
@@shauntayecooper9489 I finally reached Tandem this morning. They will contact my doctor for a new prescription. Once received, Tandem will send me a t-slim, and I will return the Mobi. I wish the Mobi would have worked out; I loved the small size, but not relying on my phone. Good luck to you with your pump!

How do you sleep with your Mobi?
Hi! I just keep it in the pocket of my pajamas. It also comes with a case that has a clip or you could use the adhesive sleeve.
