filmed this a little over a month ago now before i took my break seriously 😅 so if the christmas decor confuses you, sorry! 🥹 currently home in the US with louie 🤍🤍🤍
I can’t describe the amount of joy, calm and peace I get from watching your vlogs. Your style of vlogging hits exactly the right spot for me. Thank you! ✨
Jeonju in autumn is STUNNING. So many huge brilliant yellow gingko trees with leaves falling, in the hanok village. It's one of my favourite places in fall, you have to go :)
Lol that legendary "She's got me by the .." sweater 🙈 If I remember correctly, Wooyoung from Ateez once wore that exact sweater to the airport without knowing what it said 😂
5:29 I like looking at images of the roads in korea 15:22 the iconic wooyoung airport sweater that he wore a couple of days ago XD This was a fun vlog~ thank you for sharing ^-^
Ahhhh every single one of your videos is SUCH a VIBE :) I've been binging all of your videos lately and just wanted to say thank you for creating such a wonderful space to chill out and feel inspired :) your videos = ART
cariii i love your videos so much!b your editing and the beauty of seoul, the way you film the best spots and your vlogs radiate this coziness and are so aesthetically pleasing, legit the best content creator!!🍚🏯
Hi! I just wanted to thank you for all of your videos and all the effort you put into them. I'm always travelling and away from my loved ones and at those moments when I feel the most alone, your videos help me to feel kind of home and with a friend (idk if this sounds weird lol!). Hope you're doing good and thank you again
I used one of your older Jeonju vlogs to help me plan for my trip last October. We found ourselves in the vintage museum when it started to rain. If people struggle booking in Korean then you can book the buses and trains on the Klook site. It was really easy and it dealt with the reservations, plus there was no need to print tickets.
Oh your bringing back some fond memories. I taught in a small town about an hour south of Jeonju and I used to love going into Jeonju on the weekends. 😊❤
I really resonated with the author’s notes on the Corpe on Vacation book, I’d love to read it. Your videos are a warm and welcomed company for my Sunday mornings while I have my breakfast. 💛
Hi, Cari! Thank you for the video. As I have already traveled around Korea a lot for some reason I still haven't been to Jeonju so I will put it on my future travel list. Happy 설날! 새해 복 많이 받으세요~~
Been to Jeonju Hanok Village before and always love that place! But I haven't explored the other areas, so thank you for introducing that! Definitely will put it on my list if I go to Jeonju again ✨️
And amazing cozy video, thank you! I wanted to ask where you find songs to use in your vlogs, as they are amazing and not like those popular ones that everyone uses. Will be grateful for your answer, have a nice day!
Happy New Year! It’s so lovely to have you back and I hope you’re well rested. Whatever length of video, we still appreciate that you share your experiences. ☕📚📽
Always love your videos Cari. Relaxing and peaceful. Plus, I can practice my English listening skills. :-) By the way, the teens without their coats on just want to look cool 😂
I am vaguely aware of the fact that in middle school I was one of those kids who didn't "need" their coat in the winter. I'm 30 this year, I don't know who that girl is. I am ALWAYS cold.
Def going to visit Jeonju in SK now :) sometime Will also get the Neighbours table novel Also 100% do nothing and have no plans is so good and needed from time to time -me time
that ending sentiment was exactly what i've been feeling for the last couple of months like i need to spend more time just literally staring out a window in silence and just being present without trying to distract my brain. i'm actually currently in korea right now and have been looking for book stores that sell english books. do you know any??
I don't know if you;ve read If I Had Your Face by Frances Cha, but hearing you talk about Your Neighbours Table reminded me of it. I enjoyed it, it follows 3 or 4 women of varying ages and backgrounds that all live in an officetel. I recommend!
Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaariiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! That is what I would YELL enthusiastically if I saw you in real life!
hi if you like Kafka you should watch this movie „the glory of life“ it’s about Kafkas final years living in Berlin and on the seaside it’s quite beautiful
hi cari hope you had great time in jeonju,, but what s hoddeok ?? we know hotteok like the brown sugar filled pancake, but the one you got seems like hotdog but marshmellow haha ? is it a new thing in korea?
I’ve made it a challenge to not be on my phone in public spaces and instead be present, and like you said, just observe. It’s hard!! And kind of awkward, but it feels so much better than endlessly scrolling on my phone.
As an American women that doesn't have the means to leave, I am living through you. I could never travel like this by myself. My walks are very routine, I go to the same spots, same times, and I am rarely alone. I envy the way you not only live in a walkable city, but have public transportation that seems safe. The next time you are on a walk, I would love for you to take that walk for us women in massive American cities that are not walkable and not safe.
nothing better than a caricakes out-of-seoul vlog to end the week!!!

Aww, sorry to hear you're feeling gloomy. It's cold and gloomy here too, but a video from you always brightens the evening! :-)

I live about 30 min outside Paris and it's super gloomy here almost all winter and even a lot of autumn and spring. Gloomy club, lol

Hi Cari! Where is your gorgeous coat from?? It looks like my absolute dream winter jacket :')
13:10 "At this time of year, in this part of the country!"
How do you research all the lovely places you go to? I'd love to explore more but I don't know how to discover where to go.
