Hey there Peter. When your finished cooking your dinner... Just as the coals go grey try grilling a powdered sugar donut. My dad use to do that and we all thought he was a bit off, but they was good. The low heat heats the sugar and crystalizes. Be careful not to burn yourself especially your mouth. I haven't tried a glazed donut grilled. I did try an old fashion donut grilled. It was good too. I could see you doing something intricate with wires, making maybe like a tunnel, and then planting ivy or something similar so that it grows into the structure. In the other universe called reality I would never spend 15 minutes of my life to watch a man cook and eat a hot-dog. However in this universe of Peter I will happily find myself watching a grown man cook and eat a hot-dog and be thoroughly entertained and engrossed throughout.

I really miss being able to BBQ. My power went out a week ago, and I was so happy to have my small backpacking stove. Was able to quickly boil water, SO nice to have coffee. And was able to cook my bacon before it went bad. On subsequent endeavors I made pasta with sauce, reheated cooked beans, made fried rice (the rice was already cooked). I'm really happy to have the power back on again.

Can confirm here, your videos have a very enjoyabe chill and following someone else`s thoughts for a little while is mildly interesting and soothing! (Maybe as a German) i Thought: what a terribe inefficient barbecue station, but it is art so it`s okay - and even cooking becomes an art performance! (like putting the bun at the spikes, i really had fun watching!). Thanks so much, go on doing your thing! Loving it :D

I'd be afraid to grill in the dark with that contraption. The way it reaches out to grab you. It reminds me of the Firebox stove. A backpacking stove that folds flat (minus the spikes). Those jagged top edges would be a good spot to rest shish-ke-bob skewers. Seems like roasted marshmallows are an option too . Great fun.
From an aesthetic perspective, brilliant. From an engineering perspective, with all the spikes, you basically turned the entire grille into a radically efficient heat sink. Sort of defies the whole point of a food heating contraption... from a practical perspective.
