In the LN, there was a scene where she abandoned all of her stupidity and did things properly, even Kazuma was surprised of how useful she was at the time. Until something mess up and Aqua even cried out that why did things go wrong even though she finally did her job.

That's actually a real thing alligators do. When they get a hold of their prey, they spin like that to break its neck/spine and then drag it to the bottom of the lake to drown it.

So as right now, Aqua no longer has a right to be a goddess, since she doesn't take her job seriously and just sends weirdos (with the exception of Kazuma) who only causes trouble more than the demons!
In hindsight, how the heck did the quest givers expect someone to purify that lake? It took a cheat level divine caster to do it. Only 300,000? and a cage is 200,000? Ridiculous.
They probably expected several priests and clerics to do it over several weeks
But yeah, the reward was unbelievably cheap
Quests aren't necessarily going to be given at a price that makes sense unless no one takes it. It's the law of supply and demand.
How much demand do the quest-givers have to see this quest get done, and how many adventurers are prepared to actually take the quest?
If no one takes it, raise the price until someone does.
not to mention even with this divine cheat it still took 7 HOURS with the cage being about to break halfway

Gary Is Gaming If she’s beside her believers, then she can. In the LN, it was revealed that she turn all the hot springs of the Axis Cult into Holy water instead of normal water. The Axis Cult made a lot of money from that and they finally believed that Aqua is the goddess that they worship. And as much as I hate to admit it, the Axis Cult is pretty useful later on in the story.

One of the best scenes in the series! Having them just watch her get almost-mauled was a level of cruelty I now expect from this series.
If her stats are maxed when she came into this world, wouldnt she be able to purify the entire lake with one touch since her abilities are likely godly tiered?
That's why kazuma had such a sad look and felt bad when she told him that he genuinely felt bad for her not getting any better

"Her stats are maxed so she's able to purify an entire lake in one go."
My assumption is that while Aqua's stats are essentially maxed (aside from Luck and Intelligence) as a result of her godly nature, she's still starting at the bottom of the experience track like everyone else in this world, so she's locked out of most high level abilities and some of her powers available to her still hit a cap of some kind that can only be overcome by higher levels.
In D&D terms, she's got a 20 in most of her stats, but she's still only starting off as a Level 1 Cleric, so she can only do so much with them, and the fact that she usually only takes the most useless spells available to her really solidifies how useless she actually is.

2. Have you even watched the video? Even while using purification, it took her 3 hours to purify the lake.
3. It doesn’t matter whether or not it’s her fault, she’s the only one that suffered through trauma. If a friend of yours accidentally tripped while walking, would you focus on the fact that it’s their fault that they didn’t focus on the road instead of helping them up? Aqua suffering is fun, but know when to give sympathy.
