I own this tool and it is very Great. The only thing I kind of regret is, that I choose the option with the surrated blade. It is a good blade and I like that the straight part is near to the handle but I never use because If it gets dull it is bit that easy to resharpen it. I always wonder of there could be any other use for the slot, where the corkscrew attaches to the tool. I like the corkscrew but mayby Victorinox could produce a drill or an augur or something like this. I think it would benefit this wonder tool.
I have had my original swiss tool for 18 years, its been everywhere with me and been my most trusted friend. I really want to try the swiss tool spirit and would love to review one. love to see Victorinox continue to innovate and maintain their high standards of quality, always there for me when I need it the most. all the best from mountain bear outdoors.
The finish and build of this is exceptional. I love the tool selection, especially being familiar with the Victorinox Swiss Army Knives, but these are thicker than even the 93mm Alox tools.
You made the right choice because it is the best in the world. First I tried the leatherman and other brands. Then I bought the victorinox. Never look back ever since. Now I owned 3 swisstools and several sak.

I know this company very well and for a reason it’s because of their Swiss Army knives *Edit* Thank you for the ❤️ I appreciate it I have a Swiss Army knife myself thanks Victorinox!
This thing is superior to the leathermans except for one thing - one handed deploy, and with the pocket clip, the one handed easy and quick deployment makes all the difference for me.

I love the ratchet kit instead of the Leatherman style but driver. But damn it the spirits scissors just don’t open up enough or feel right compared to the spring scissors

I don't know what the offical way is but I spray mine with some WD40 and alcohol which gets rid of most of the dirt, and reapply oil to the hinges. Works every time.
Bought two, returned two. The problem was when it’s closed and you lay it down on a flat surface, tool isn’t leveled. Like one of the handles linger above almost 2-3mms. Seen couple of people mentioning the same problem and others not having this at all. Either their tolerance margins are bad or I was unlucky, twice consecutively.
@@omarmahmuzic Bad advice. Expect high quality from expensive tools, and low quality from cheap tools. That's how you avoid being an easy target for scammers that will sell you overpriced products and expect you to think that it's fine.
Where can I buy the sturdy hands of that guy? I can't pull out the knife or the screwdriver without the use of another tool. My fingernails will just break.
Please remove the " rivet " and install screw, because with rivet it is not possible to disassemble the tool . For example i can quite easily to replace damaged plane knife in my leatherman.

I love my Swisstool and Spirit. However because of the UK government being 'fussy' with Knife laws you cannot take it with you outside. If the swisstool/sprit didn't have a locking blade then it would be legal. I hope a UK friendly version would be made.
