By default, all BD websites have a /locations page which lists the locations of current website members. You can see an example on our demo site here: www.demobootstrap.com/locations. To set up a clickable map with states and cities linking to service providers, you can use the Homepage Clickable Maps Pack add-on. This add-on allows you to place an interactive map on your homepage, where users can select their state or province to view local member listings. In the process of setting up my site, started off in Wordpress and I wanted to pull my hair out, your guy’s chat assistant bot is amazing. I am setting up the website as a service for b2c, and b2b, I understand that we can generate leads (customers) for businesses (members), but is there a way for the leads/customers to also make an account? I would like to drive more interaction with the leads and businesses and even each other. Obviously they would not have a listing, but would have an account where they could save businesses, interact with posts etc.
Great question! You can create a separate membership plan for general users. Then, for that specific membership plan you can set the "Are These Members Searchable on the Website?" setting to "No". This will ensure these general users are not visible on the front-end of your website.
