I'm on 60mg and have been about 7 months. I just feel depressed all the time now. I'm seriously thinking of lowering my dosage to see if it makes a difference.

How long do you leave it til making the call that dose isn’t right for you? I’ve just moved from 30mg to 50mg, 7 days in and negatives outweigh positives. Feel too high, go to sleep fine but wake up between 4am-5am everyday which creates tiredness compounding. Should i stop it now or are you supposed to wait longer?

I would say you should have a good grasp on the effects after 7 days. Worth speaking to the Dr overseeing your treatment and see if they think its time for a change of dose

What to do when i think i get better effects on higher dosages but also more anxiety? Can i get used to it and it will get less? My doctor says no, when you feeling anxious, the dosage is too high. I think i will try again at the 30mg and slowly try to increase. And the Prices in other countries are horrible. Here in germany everyone gots an insurance by law, and so vyvanse/elvanse costs only nearly 8€ .

Hey Ollie! Sorry if I’ve missed this, but what made you go private? I’m in Glasgow and so far (6 months since diagnosis, 2 weeks on 50 mg ) I’ve found the nhs pretty helpful . I really couldn’t afford to pay that monthly! Hope you’re doing well buddy!

Hey 👋 the main reason was the waiting list for an assessment.. in my area it’s around 2 years and so I decided I would rather pay the money than wait that long!

    54 is too much.

Think I’ll be going back down to 30mg. Blood pressure too high and pulse too high now. :(

You might get the same benefits with no side effects at a lower dose - I’ve got my fingers crossed Craig🤞

@@ollieedward643 cheers dude. My nurse has recommended that I try stick it out at 40mg as the side effects should start to subside and the positives should start to shine through. As long as my blood pressure and pulse drops again I’ll be OK with that - currently I daren’t exercise or even have a glass of wine in case it causes a spike or something 🙈

You could try citrulline malate and magnesium to counteract higher BP induced from stimulants, as well as the obvious things (diet - lower salt, higher fibre and protein intake, fruit and veg, etc and exercise), and more long term aged garlic extract also lowers BP.
