Right now ive seen many people having positive things to say about adhd medication but always in later videos they stop it for some reason which is making me very unsure to take it. EDIT: WoW, even he stopped also in later Videos..... EDIT2: Oh, it was because of a shortage. Nice

I had to test any dosage for 14 days before I knew if it was good or not. Any less, and it may just be passing sideffects. That said, 20mg was great for a week, 40mg was bad and I only made it 3 days before trying 60mg. 60mg has worked better for me so far 😊

Good luck. I am on the same med Elvanse but the name is irrelevant its Speed or wiz as they say up north . 40 mg for me is not enough to stop procrastinating or get me to start any task . I take double that dose and find it works best for me . But I don’t take it every day. I have days when I just like to embrace being being ADHD . I was undiagnosed for 50 years but around 16 years old started taking speed in night clubs and It made me feel Normal what ever that means . But it took another 34 years for a psychiatrist to diagnose me. Then it blew my mind that the medicine elvanse was actually speed . 😂 and I was 😊 treating my condition but didn’t realise I was adhd 😂 and also why I took speed all those years because I functioned better on it . Good luck on the elvanse 👍great vid

I don't feel my dose. At all. My PCP, Endocrinologist & Therapist said that they could tell the difference. After failing my CDL road test for the 2nd time, my Primary is FINALLY changing my dose. Too late for my CDL promotion at work. Maybe in time to get ready to leave my job and work for a truck 🚚 company. Why can't this be like glucometers? WHY is it so hard to get the CORRECT DOSE from the doctor?

Dude, im 38 and just got diagnosed with ADHD 3 years ago. Every medication under the sun, all shit. All made it wayyy worse. I take vyvanse now and at first i would take it then not take it or over take it or under take it because my impulsivity control was non-existent. I would go through periods of wicked hyperness and then just crash hard. But crashing for me is my body being exhausted, not my mind. That never stops. I have been taking the vyvanse 30 mg for 5 months consistently along with another medication and it has helped me drastically. When I dont take it, my mind tells me I dont need it or everything is fine but in reality, its not. Its just a vicious cycle that never ends. I started meditating, doing yoga daily, started school, left an extremely toxic 20 year relationship. The downside, for me, is the acne, the anxiety if I have coffee with my medication, def cant do that. My heart rate is always high but my blood pressure is low because im usually dehydrated but other than that. The impulse control, the motivation, the ability to focus and really internalize and think about things has made life worth living again for me. I thought medication was a horrible idea, i still do, even though I know the benefits of it. Are there terrible things about medications, yes. But benefit out ways the cons for me personally. Maybe in the future I wont need it but what ive learned is that my quality of life is based on how i feel and taking care of myself. I hope this helps someone. Peace.

So we have all of these people, many many many people now on these artificial chemicals that are changing their brain structure that are changing their receptors that are exhausting supplies of things like dopamine so now we basically it's like a chemical castration of being able to have fun or pleasure right so dopamine is our fun it makes us feel fun it makes it we feel it when we are happy and joyful,l right and the drug the stimulants essentially get to the point if you take them long enough um where you no longer then have the ability to generate dopamine and they're taking these medications that exhaust and destroy the parts of the brair that allow us to have pleasure allow u to experience pleasure and now because of this short supply shortage or whatever now people don't have access to that and so suddenly they're realizing as these drugs come off like holy s***, they're depressed because their bodies have become handicapped and unable now to to generate that on their own so think about that we're doing that to a generation of people.

I was severely traumatized years ago as a teenage, got diagnosed with ADHD. Spent my whole life fighting ADHD. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

I love hearing great life changing stories like this. I want to become a mycologist because honestly mushrooms are the best form of medicine (most especially the psychedelic ones) There are so many people today used magic mushrooms to ween off of SSRI medication- its amazing! Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death buddy, lets be honest here.

Where can I find those psilocybin mushrooms? I'm really interested in treating my mental health without Rxs. I live in Australia don't know much about these. I'm so glad they helped you. I'm so very happy for you mate, Psilocybin is absolutely amazing, the way it shows you things, the way it teaches you things. I can not believe our world and our people shows less interest about it's helpfulness to humanity. It's love. The mushrooms heals people by showing the truth, it would be so beneficial for so many people, especially politicians and the rich who have lost their way and every other persons out there.

Here's what I've learnt in the past years, especially dealing with ADHD as an adult. Medication - try Vyvanse. I can't put into word how valuable it was to learn that I AM capable, it was necessary to feel better about myself which In turn enabled me to chill tf out over a lot of stuff that crushed me every day. Food: I know healthy food / cooking can be extra challenging for us, try to find a good balance between fast and healthy. For us ADHDers it's more important to eat frequently at all. Utilize your food-autism to achieve this. So it's all about reducing the background noise so that you're not as irritable as you might be now. Food was a difficult one for me. I simply started with having a bowl of plain Joghurt, a teaspoon of Honey, 2 tablespoons of crushed hemp seeds. I also switched Black coffee with Matcha, that took off a loooooot of noise.

I started 30mg Elvanse this week. 5 Days in, I have seen some improvements in executive functioning, , but my mind still races at a million miles an hour, and I would like to try a higher dose soon. I feel lucky, as my main side effects are light reduction in appetite (it has completely removed my tendency to binge crap. Instead I have enough energy and focus to look after myself with cooking healthy meals). I do get a little dry mouth, but that is only positive, as it encourages me to hydrate well. The last few days have not been not very representative of my normal days as far as exercise and sleep (non elvanse related lack of sleep), so I will have to be patient to see how it affects me on more normal days. I have not really crashed at all, but did lose energy and focus this afternoon. Not worse than before Elvanse, though. Thank you for posting your video. Any insights from fellow ADHDers are much appreciated, having only entered the world of ADHD a couple of months ago. Even unmedicated, I feel the diagnosis has made such a difference, as I can now peel away all the unhelpful labels I have been given or have given myself in the past.

I already have problems sleeping so I'm very weary on starting any AdHd meds. I only got diagnosed recently and I've managed to have a fairly decent life so far and have pretty much accommodated my life to my condition without knowing about it. So yeah, I think I'll just manage the way I've been doing so far. I do believe meds are necessary for certain people. I have pretty much all the ADHD symptoms to a degree but I've never felt less than or had bad self esteem. I just thought I was clumsy, forgetful and hyper lol. I actually like myself and I'm afraid the meds would change my personality.

Inattentive type here, I've just tried elvanse 30mg for a month and dont feel its done much at all except increase anxiety a bit and some days a bit of fidgetting i never had because im too stimulated. Ive never got on with caffeine or felt the benefits of it like most other adhd people. Wondering if non stimulant types may be better and why they seem reluctant to prescribe them in the UK.
