- The real life Rosa Dear and her 5 year old daughter, Juniper, were killed in a car accident on Friday, March 6. Her two other kids, Elliot (7) and Iona (3) remain in critical care.

For years now this song has been one of my favorites, I'm happy to finally hear from you guys again, and know the story behind the song, I'm so sorry for Rosa, and Juniper... it's a hard situation and I'll pray for all of you involved, Rosa And her daughter will live on through you guys and this beautiful song, hopefully everytime someone discovers it, or takes joy in listening to it again both of them will smile from heven

I didn't know Rosa personally (my mom is a nurse who worked with her when she was a CNA), but I loved following her on Instagram and watching her family grow and seeing the love she and Brian had for each other. Without ever meeting her, Rosa inspired me so much and has shaped not only my dreams for what my future will look like but my ideas about what it means to be a woman, a daughter, a friend, a sister, and someday a mother. I've come back to this song several times since I heard about the accident and I continue to pray for Brian, Elliot, and Iona every day. Thank you for this beautiful tribute and I'm sending love your way

I spent so much time listening to this song with tears in my eyes when I was younger. It uplifted me in so many ways. My prayers go out to Rosa’s family and loved ones. ❤️
My husband and I love this song so much, we chose it as our first dance song for our wedding in 2016. I just now stumbled across the news of Rosa and Juniper's death, and my heart sank so hard.

So sad, I’m so sorry for Rosa’s passing and her young child. Brian I will be praying for you and your children. This song means so much to me from before I knew who Rosa was. I am truly so very sorry.
This song hits close to home for me. 3 months after I was born my dad fell 30 feet while working at the nuclear power plant. So I’ve never known my dad to not be permanently disabled. He has a titanium rod in his neck. Despite his disability he is still the strongest person I’ve ever known and I am very lucky to call him dad.

I love this song. I worked with adults who were differently abled for a while when I first started as a CNA doing home care. It always makes me think of them. They are so amazing and some of the best people I know that no one takes the time to get to know. It makes me miss them. I. Knowing the story makes me happy sad. I hope they can find peace
