I’m being requested on a few new modern home builds by the GC to spray level 5 with usg tuff hide instead of orange peel or knock down. This is my first time diving into this, have you ever used it? After reading the installation guide on the usg website it doesn’t seem very hard but I can’t find any videos on it and wanted to hear from a professional who has used it before. What type of product are you using in this video? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Hey guy, informative video, thanks. We use a primer surfacer for level 5, spray it on, sand when dry with mirka/hilti, super nice finish and quick.............do u still have your dewalt vac?
Hey C&S Drywall. I bought a Mirka sander and I love it. It works great on walls; however, not so great on corners. What tool do you recommend for dustless sanding of corners?
What is the best (small, powerful) self cleaning filter dust extractor? I’m needing it for the Mirka deros 6” when sanding small/medium drywall patches … thank u for any advise

Still got to do the light a sponge the sander just minimizes it.
Interesting that Hilti doesn’t come to the job site. Here its a sales truck showing up with a replacement while the other is getting serviced.

Shoot that's a hard one we still hand check all our corners hard to keep everything dust free

The new hilti is pretty good
Did I hear you say it's faster to sand with the Hilti than to wipe down?
Yes but the application takes a bit longer so you send the time upfront rather than back end.

Seems like the Mirka would be the sander of choice. Its the only one I use.
