- Fun trip to London, Kentucky (London/Corbin Airport)- KLOZ.
I continue my quest to touchdown at every airport in Kentucky! On this flight I went to London / Corbin Airport in London, Ky (KLOZ). An airport about 100NM SE of Bowman Field (KLOU). I'm just building some time and getting some comm practice in with flight following / radar services in prep for my instrument checkride! I ran into some sketchy weather so I was forced to make a in-flight decision that played a big part in the flight overall.
Fun flight to LOZ with the nice FBO! I'm sure I'll be back again one day.

Very cool. I just recently got my PPL out here in NorCal. That haze is intimidating...there's fires out here and the haze is making me reluctant to fly.
Man I feel you! That why we have personal minimums. I think that intimidation of the haze will go away with experience. Safe travels man!

Good vid! Just flew there with my wife last Tuesday (2/7/22). Restaurant was closed but we got courtesy car and ate at Durham's BBQ. Good eating for sure! Had nice sunset flight back into KLEX. See ya around!
