You do not need to use Dimension, just click on the point in the image. It is important that F3 is off, otherwise the click may go to another point in the image. 1. select the image 2. select the scale command 3. click on the first point on the line 4. press the r key (if you have autocad in english) 5. click again on the first point and then on the second point 6. finally enter the distance between the two points
