    Yaasss! Thank you so much for educating others and me as well. Another thing about regression, is that it can happen at any stage of their development. For example, Isabelle, my 6yr old now, had a similar regression once she was dropped off from early intervention at 3years old. She was doing so great with her ABA therapist and she was thriving. Once the early intervention dropped her off, all those achievements we had during that year completely disappeared including, the eye contact all over again. Another thing about regression is your little heart hurts seeing that they had progressed and then regressed, especially when it involves affection and showing them love.

      So absolutely true and thanks for sharing about Isabelle, it could really help someone! ❤️ People think of development like climbing higher but with regressions it's like dropping down and starting over and over and you're right, as a parent it is heartbreaking because all you want is them to be happy and usually after having the indepence of that skill then regressing it's really hard for them and the meltdowns get more intense. Or it did in Ted's case xx
