Thanks Jodi for sharing all of your videos and expertise with us. It has helped me to become a better welder. One thing that I have never tackled though is the 6gr position. Can you do a video of that or have you done so already?
In high school now vocational welding and id would like to see some more stick its my favorite. Make some overhead tip bids because i got vet up down pretty well but have not gone in to over head to much and your tips help and like to see ur take on it overall
Looking to take up welding in a community college, I wanted to know if an Associates has any advantage over a certificate program, thanks for posting useful videos.
Quick question. Is it important to maintain directionality when welding? In other words, If I start going around the pipe in a clock wise direction do I have to continue welding in that direction or is it ok to change which direction I'm welding for comforts sake? Thank you for your time.
it makes a difference in how the pipe draws from weld shrinkage but often there is no choice. for a 6g like this all welding is uphill from bottom to top so direction changes
i need a video that show how to pass the welding that you run a root , hot pass the cap off with stick rod I never stick rod before and im about start practicing so I need to know where I start
He makes it look easy, good stuff Jody.
I never get tired to see your vids!!!!
What about the Cap??? Can you do a video?
Think you might be up for a 309 stick fill and cap? Boilermakers still use this stuff and getting these papers are on my to do list
