THE WRITERS KILLED OFF THE LOVE THEY HAD FOR EACH OTHER. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING...GRRR TO ME THEY ARE LUKE AND LAURA AND NOT ACTORS ACTING OUT PARTS. WHEN I'M WATCHING THEM THAT IS HOW I ENJOY THEIR MOMENTS TOGETHER. IT'S LIKE I'M PEEKING IN ON THEIR PRIVATE LIFE AND THEY DON'T KNOW I'M WATCHING THEM. SHHH, DON'T TELL THEM I'M WATCHING THEM. Absolutely. I also believe that Laura would have never left a baby on that island with Helena and Stravos. The rewrites were awful. I think thats why I just rewatch these scenes and up to the birth of Lulu and that is it.
I love the way he whispered "laura" after he said he loved her! Such devotion and passion. *Sigh* I can barely type from laughing/crying.

Its so funny, that nearly a year earlier Luke was waiting for Laura to tell him she loved him. Once again the reverse of last year, like when Laura was chasing after him the way he chased after her the year before. One way to stretch the story out for as long as they could.
I think one of the reasons we are all so joyful about these 2 being together is that considering their storyline from the beginning, it's a miracle that they got this far together. So many things were in their way, yet the strength of their love got them past each obstacle. To watch them have so much fun and be so happy to be together is just delightful. Plus, it's like finally, something in life makes sense and is beautiful at the soul's level. Such a rare treat, this story.

He really did believe that because he thought a ghetto kid could never be good enough and he felt he couldn't rely on anyone. You can see why he lost himself in her. She looked at him like he was her hero. Like he was ten feet tall. Who wouldn't lose themself in that?
Luke could be anyone's hero!!He was to us for so many years until they ruined his character!!

Laura waited SO LONG to hear Luke say he loved her and for him to be over the hurt. I just cry for her and them that they are back with each other. If only Luke had understood the horrible trauma Laura carried and the reason for her reactions @the police station. She tried to warn him but he didn't get it and she had a PTSD meltdown. Its weird that he didnt put two and two together but they had to stretch out the storyline...arggg!!!
My parents would play that and dance in the living room when we were kids... Oh my...brings tears to my eyes

Did anyone else notice around 4:00 how Genie gets the "jammed door" open the first time, but then still acts like it's stuck. LOL. Didn't see that before...mostly cause I was looking at TG's (improvised?) jaw action and sarcastic smiling. LOL. Love these two.
As I just wrote down below it is going to change from cute to STEAMY in just a second and that is what is incredible about the pairing of TG and GF.... they do it all and nothing better than the other it is all just amazing!
Wouldn't it be wonderful if he actually did put a note in that bottle and threw it into the harbour that very evening. Then so many years later at an auspicious moment in his own life (much like that moment when the mayoral inaugaration was over and he took the bottle of champagne up to the balcony) he finds that very bottle bobbing along the shoreline setting off a chain of events that brings them back together.
I think it would be better if he would find it now to remind him and what he had and what he's thrown away, and how stupid he was for doing it.

They always have to go down the hard road to get back together.Why Luke got so hurt,I don't understand.Laura kept warning him about the reporters,and how she couldn't handle the pressure.He promised to hold her hand,and not let go,and he let the crowd break that hold.She had been through so much for any 18 year old to hold it together, but he thought she betrayed him,and really he betrayed her for not listening to what she was trying to get through to him!

But now here he is talking like the money to start a life together was the thing that stopped them from getting together sooner. A guess a little rewrite.
I never noticed the door thing 4:00 before until now. She does get it open but then shuts it. I also thought it was cute how Luke does the whole pretend biting thing behind her back. You wonder if he just added that in.

Omigosh! This is so freakin romantic! I'm married and love my husband but why oh why isn't real life this sweep you off your feet breathtaking! I think we all need good writers and TG and GF to spice up the real world!
I guess I was one of the lucky ones. My husband and I met while we were in college at the student union watching GH on the big TV with 100 other people. He must have gotten some tips on romance from Luke, he wooed me like no other man ever did. I fell in love with him immediately and have never stopped. He is definitely my "Luke Spencer" in the flesh. We now live on our own Texas ranch outside San Antonio and he keeps everyday as exciting as the last. 34 years and still going strong.
I just love these clips Sus! I find myself smiling throughtout the entire clip, as you all have said, they are too cute!..... After finishing 3 bottles together, I'm surprised Laura isn't out cold. LOL!

Well I look at it this way.. One Laura was spoil very young. She also had a lot to learn. Luke did his magic in his loving her. I'm a CBS soaps girl all the way but Luke and Laura got romance hands down in spades of course right after Carly and Jack! Even though their love story comes decades later! Luke and Laura wrote the blue print my gosh!!!
