From full-time to freelance: Week one of my ikigai journey!

Hey, I'm Emma! I'm half-American, half-Japanese, and I live with my husband Seb, (half-Dutch, half-German) in Amsterdam! We've been living here for the last 4 years, where I've been working in communications and public relations for tech companies. However, feeling disconnected from my true passions, I recently decided to quit my job in search of my ikigai-a Japanese concept describing one's purpose/reason to be.
Ikigai revolves around four principles: what you love, what you excel at, what the world needs, and what sustains you financially. This channel documents my exploration of various passions, including singing, space, cats, and writing, as I strive to uncover my own ikigai.
