When I get new lutterloh pattern pamphlets, I slice off the binding and run the whole thing through a scanner, both sides. Then I can just print out the pattern I need and the pamphlet pages stay nice in the binder. I also take that printout and staple it into a paper 'pocket' and store my tissue pattern in there. Just an idea :)

Hello, I use the Lutterloh system. Before I draft my pattern I copy it (Front and Back) and save the original and put it back in the book. I then cut each part of the garment pattern pieces out from the copy I made. (making sure I leave all of the measurement instructions on my copy) For example - I cut the front piece out and tape it to my drafting paper and leave it there permanently after I have drawn and cut the pattern piece out. That way I know what garment the pattern piece goes to. I then put a color copy of the garment and another copy of the pattern pieces (the back of the pattern) and all of the enlarged pattern pieces that I have made into a ziplock bag. I can then easily find the pattern and use it again. I've, also found it helpful to make all of my sewing comments on the pattern piece I've made, i.e. if I need to add hem and seam allowances, the straight of grain line etc. And always all of the markings from the little pattern. If I make changes to the pattern I put those on the pattern piece too. I hope this is helpful to you. I have had great luck with the fit from the Lutterloh patterns.

Bella, thank you so much for your review. Am really interested in this system. Recently got to know of this system via TH-cam. Where do I purchase this kit?

Hello Bella, I love all your choices especially can't wait to see you make the houndstooth jacket. Looks inspired from Jackie Kennedy's pink one. I am also in Canada and wondered if you had to pay any extra fees for the border processing duties and taxes or did you just pay what the Lotterloh website charged you.

I'm glad you liked them!! Honestly I can't remember 100% because it was a few years ago but I don't think I had to pay any additional costs other than tax and shipping at the checkout. I could be wrong but I'm thinking no. I think it came from Germany if that helps at all!

Hi, I just found your channel. For cream fabric, it looks like wool, but you could do a burn test to be sure. I have the Lutterloh system, and I photocopy the pattern, so I don’t damage the original. I loved the paring of fabric and patterns, it would be great to see how they turnout. Good luck with your channel!!!

I’m thinking of investing in this system so have been watching vlogs to try and help me make my mind up. Look forward to seeing how your projects turn out 😊

We must have roughly the same set. The coat (103) looks so classic.

Just take a photocopy or the page and then you can use it without folding and punching the original lutterloh pattern.
