I remember once I read a book called ‘brain over binge’ and in that the author says that you have to brain. The animal brain and the ‘you’ brain. The more you listen to what the animal brain tells you to do, the stronger it is. But we have to realize that the “you” brain is much is stronger than the animal brain. It’s just like a random thoughts goes by in your head then you don’t take heed of it, after a while you would forget it. So people who are addicted are just listen to their animal brain most of the time, then it becomes difficult for them to not listen. It’s their desire. But actually it’s veryyy easy to stop listening to it and become the “you” brain. That’s when it will take over the animal brain. It will shut it down. There are moments where it will tell you to do this and that, but your logic brain knows it can choose not to obey. That’s it. And I have been applying this concept in all aspects of life. Because when you see it, it’s still the brain/psychology. So the principle applies in every corner of your life.

I believe you are wrong. The puppet is what performs, its not stupid and yes it does listen to what you tell it to do. But you overlook a crucial point, it will only perform at its best when it trusts you. If you disregard the signals coming from your puppet and you keep abusing it, you will harm it possibly irrevocably
I hope you haven’t misunderstood the analogy, the puppet is your limbic system. The more you control your limbic system, the more in control you are. It doesn’t understand abuse?!?
