Great job brother! I'm a newbie to Melton and the industry myself so im learning as well. Just a quick tip...put out your reflectors behind your trailer next time you pull over on the side of the road for a significant amount of time to alert other drivers. Safety first!
I was hoping you’d comment! I tried searching for your channel but I forgot the name. The main thing with recaps for me is there’s not as much room for error so you gotta get things done faster. Maybe when I’m more experienced I’ll change my mind lol
My buddy from the AF, retired and is now driving Melton; Gus Corona. He earned a fully wrapped Semi, in USA Flag/eagles, he calls her 'Merica. Say hi, he loves to chat. Recently awarded a "Highway Angel" certificate.
Thx for making these vids...you have no idea how much it helps a soon to be newbie such as myself 🙂 joining soon...I talked with Nancy the recruiter..everything is set for me to go. I'm leaving sometime in the beginning of December. Little nervous, I got my cdl last year but only drove class B trucks. So it'll be a little of an adjustment for me, first time driving class A, first time doing flatbed, first time otr so wish me the best 🙂
Yeah good luck man! There’s a learning curve for sure but the class B experience should help you out a little. Just don’t rush anything and you’ll be fine

Thanks! And yes you’re absolutely right. I was only there for about 6 or 7 minutes, but it’s never a bad idea to take more safety precautions.
How much is melton training pay

He actually came by the CDL school I went to. I probably would never have heard of melton if it weren’t for him. Small world haha
