Another use case for this is in hire/rental cars. Those are usually barebone spec and this would be perfect for someone that travels a lot, especially to use your phone for the navigation in a new town.
My car has an old cd radio. I bought this to add car play, 2 cams & phone bluetooth. Unfortunately, the bluetooth phone feature is abysmal & basically unusable.
