I hear "Suicide Mission" from Mass Effect in this song, both in the OST and in this remix
It's because they're both in 7/8 time which is rare for shows etc, and both use similar instruments. It doesn't help they came out at similar times
It's a fairly basic Type 2 categorization error (although this version is a lot closer to Suicide Mission)

The 11th is my favourite Doctor by far, i appreciate the more serious versions that lend itself well to how effective he could be.
Agreed. Plus his run had the best episodes and overarching storyline for each season.
Much as I love Tennant and Capaldi, their episodes aren't as rewatchable.
Smith encapsulated the "weird ancient alien" vibe better than any other Nu-Who Doctor and Series 5 is the peak of the whole show IMO.
@@INFEDnoX it's funny you say that, I've said that almost verbatim when watching series 5 again with my daughter. She was a toddler when he was on air so really made an impression, and he's the only Doctor insofar as she's concerned.

I think Capaldis does a good job, and if Murray Gold used “Gallifrey our Childhood home” for a Doctor theme it also works as a really good building theme.

It still is good, if you are referring to the 13th doctor it was not Jodies fault, simply shitty scripts and writing.
However 14 and 15 are absolute perfection.

Fantastic. Simply amazing. You captured the Doctor perfectly. One critique I have is that at some parts of the piece, I felt that the different sections of the orchestra were not meshing together as well as they could. Despite this minor detail, this is an amazing work of art.

@@ProjectInfinity084 I love it. Found it a few months ago at about the same time as the Litli Hrutur eruption in Iceland back in July.
00::00 to 2:09 was the build up from July 4 to July 7.
2:10 to 2:14 was the holding breath part from July 7 to July 10 since the magma was less than 1km from the surface.
2:15 onward was the eruption.
This music captured the whole tension and emotion I felt perfectly. I know I might sound weird, but that's just how I am.

As some one who grew up watching re-runs of old Doctor who before the 2005 relaunch, stuck withe show for over 15 years before becoming one of the many who are dissatisfied with the past few seasons
