It was nice to see even with all his money he still likes to take care of his stuff and not just have people do it all for him , and he watches videos to learn , so many of the wealthy people we see just pay people to do the work and that’s a big part of the fun in fishkeeping . And you can see when they both talk how much they love the hobby

What a great video!! I have learned so much from Kev even though Ive been keeping fish since 1982 there’s always more to learn and Kevs fish in cycle video with Prime and Stability absolutely blew my mind! I used both daily and cycled a 180 with monster fish without losing one!

It was wholesome to see a wealthy guy into the hobby big time who actually cares about the fish individually and wants to do the work and learn about it . Most big time wealthy people we watch in the hobby have huge setups that they don’t even do anything with they hire and pay people to do everything for them

Ozzie, it is to my understanding that you play with the Atlanta Braves, and I'm sure you know Austin Riley, right? Anyways, back in April, you guys came to Saint louis for a few games, and I had vip tickets that my mom received from a friend. My now old teacher is a huge Braves fan, and I was able to get him a signed ball autographed by Austin himself. If you see this or I hope this isn't too much to ask but can you tell Mr. Austin Riley, that I actually gave my teacher the ball, and you made our years!
The superintendent later heard about the story after it blew up on Facebook, reaching over 200,000 shares and views. We even made a podcast about it with that teacher.

With a tank that size, what is the most efficient way of heating it without heating the room?
Also when doing large water changes, what is the best way of heating the new water you are adding to the aquarium?!

I would suggest putting a decent size Pleco in each of your tanks. You will barely need to touch the glass. They do an amazing job.👍☹️

I personally prefer to under stock and over filter. I like the pond though thats crazy
Not everyone agrees but that bacteria bloom cloudiness the UV lights work like magic on that me and my dad have had that issue a few times especially in the beginning or on a new tank and we put a 9watt UV and the problem is gone in a week max . Without it that issue would last weeks

Being a fishkeeper myself for over 50 years I find it always sad to see a natural creature imprisoned in a unnatural looking environment..Making it nothing more than just a fish in a glass box instead making it look natural
Unless you got a public aquarium sized tank, you CANNOT decorate a tank of monster fishes. Your driftwood, rocks, and plants will all get destroyed. Your fish, with how powerful they are, can kill themselves by blunt force or impalement on the decorations. It has happened millions of times already and that's why you see bare tanks when having these monsters. If you want decorations, you better think about the size of the decorations in comparison to your tank, fish size, and their swimming space. Smaller custom aquariums will never satisfy that want. Although he has the length, the height and width are too small for a natural set up. Some fish eat the decorations as well and have their guts ripped out. Even smaller fishes CANT have certain decor because they destroy it, like 95% of cichlids will destroy any plants in your tank. Now you are still free to do as you will, but when your large fish is missing an eye or have a huge gash on it's side, it's 90% of the time your decorations as you should know tank mate compatibility already.
