I’m not Māori, but I’m a teacher. I truly believe that every student I’ve taught is absolutely magic, especially my beautiful Māori students. When I know the struggle most of them go through every day I’m humbled to be be their teacher ❤

Especially your Maori students ? What are the struggles they have than anyone else doesn’t have ? The amount of politically correct bullshit I hear about in schools regarding Maori is just pathetic . Are you another who believes colonisation was such a terrible thing for Maori . ? Does it bother you at all that the peaceful Moriori were slayed by the Maori who arrived on the shores of the country and staged a murderous take over ? That’s fact . The trouble in schools these days are that Maori are treated as victims and supported by teachers who have to be seen by woke principals to be supporting the wokeness .

News from the Rotorua Daily Post:
"Child, 2, dies after Rotorua driveway accident, family member steals from doctor trying to save child's life." As hospital staff tried to save the life of a 2-year-old boy run over in a Rotorua driveway, a family member swiped a doctor's two phones and a bank card and went on a spending spree. The child died a short time later but Melissa Herewini (A MAORI) had already taken the bank card to four stores in Rotorua and bought alcohol, food, petrol, phone credit and cigarettes.

      proud to be maori:
New Zealand Hearald news headline 29 May, 2024 “Raglan man Simon Terence Hamiora Kereopa drags partner outside naked, pours boiling water over her“ Kereopa ( A MAORI) dragged her outside through the kitchen door by her arms, down the kitchen steps and onto the ground. He then grabbed the kettle, which was just inside the door, and poured the boiling water over the victim - who was naked at the time - directly onto her skin. As he did so, Kereopa told her “you deserve it, and that’s what you get”. He then told her he would reboil the jug and pour it on her face. She ran to seek help from her sister but she was asleep, before running into her daughter’s room and hugging her. Kereopa then went into the room and said, “once you let go, I’m burning your face”. Judge Stephen Clark noted Kereopa’s 17 family violence convictions, eight of which were against the current victim. The man responsible, Simon Terence Hamiora Kereopa, was today jailed for the incident, his ninth conviction against the victim during their 20-year-plus relationship.

@@user-oh4yd5uh4e oh yeah what about this English descent WHITE MALE 'Michael Lesley Stevens' A violent, serial paedophile who is serving a rare indefinite prison sentence says a nearly half-year stretch in “solitary confinement punishment cells” at the privately operated Auckland South Corrections Facility was illegally ordered as retribution for consensual relationships with other prisoners.
Maxien Stevens, 38, who is transgender, was housed at the Serco-run facility - which houses male prisoners but also accommodates those who identify as women - from June 2020 until November 2021. During that time, she was relocated almost 40 times - the majority of which were “due to behavioural and relationship difficulties with staff and prisoners”, a Corrections official noted at the time.
“This behaviour has been described as cyclic.”
But in three court appearances over the past year-and-a-half before five judges, Stevens argued her segregation during her final six months there was unnecessary and in violation of policy. Prison officials, Corrections, and now two courts have disagreed.

Yeah nah , because after invasion, war, destruction of economy, land theft , relocation, successive governments implementing bad policy that ignores or disadvantages a sizable proportion of their populations health and well being I am quite sure the Pakeha ability to be proud of themselves is not the issue. Now you can take this personally and see it as insulting but it is simple facts your reaction is key.

Mbro my people were warriors your people were colonizers who could not overthrow mine in any way , my people were few your people came in mass. The white man out numbered Māori 5-1 sometimes 10-1 yet we still resisted and out did your people not only in hand to hand combat but even with the alien weaponry 'muskets' provided to by hē tangata tiriti (people of the treaty) we still out did your people it was to the point where your English people had to recruit our Māori tipuna just to get 1 win. Just as we warred then we are still at war now for our right as Tangata whenua. The strength and resilience of my people will forever be remembered! from now until forever!! I used to be proud to be Maori, but in the past 20 years elite Maori have turned into a bunch of crazy grifters peddling hate and trying to play my two races off against each other. My ancestors were not victims to colonialism, they thrived because of it and fairly traded land they didn’t use for the magic of modern comforts especially blankets which were specifically mentioned as being particularly treasured. A couple of my maori ancestors were murdered by other Maori tribes while none of my ancestors were killed by europeans.

Why don´t you get active? You realise the problem. You realise that certain Maori are playing two races off against each other. You realise that the media is weak, do not at all have a neutral standpoint, are very left orientated. You are aware that the government with it´s Maori favouritism is creating a breeding ground for racism. You are aware of the fact that many Non-Maori have had a guts full and see Maori in a very negative racist way. You realise that many Maori are racist towards Non-Maori........especially towards "Pakeha". At the end of the day it is the image of Maori that is suffering.

the point of this is because māori have been suppressed for too long. the backstory behind this is that he got thrown out of parliament for wearing a māori taonga. he is singing this song because he is not only showing his pride in his culture in parliament, but also because he is emphasising his party’s points to get māori people equal with pākehā people.

Whites have done enough grand standing around the world I think the world knows to ad nauseum how proud they are of themselves. My dad got the proud English language beaten into him & his native language beaten out of him as a 5 year old when he came to NZ from the cook islands. He wet himself on his first day at school because he couldn't speak English & then got the cane for it.

      2. We dont go by percentages thats a colonial, white view
      3. Who wants to be a far right White Supremist ?? 💀No wonder barely any people are publically proud to say their white huh because what has white people done worldwide that is something to be proud of? For a white person they would have to say im proud to be New Zealander to make even the slightest sense.. or where ever they were born or now live..
