- In this video we will be taking our first look at "Welcome to Wrexham" Season 2, Episode 4 “Shaun's Vacation”.
Some self-inflicted chaos unfolds in Wrexham thanks to Co-Chairmen Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, much to the frustration of Executive Director Humphrey Ker.

I hereby state that I believe my content, a Reaction Video, constitutes a transformative use of the original copyright protected material. I am creating reaction videos that are my own opinions and reviews of the protected material, and my work is protected under the fair use doctrine as outlined in Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976. I believe that my use of the original material does not infringe upon the rights of the copyright holder and is protected under the principles of fair use. I have no intent of claiming this music as my own. This is my musical reaction, breakdown, and commentary breakdown of the song. I intend no copyright infringement, and this is not a replacement for listening to the song. I am not trying to take any ownership of the copyrighted material. I am simply reacting to the content, giving my opinion on the content, and providing educational feedback for my viewers on what I think the meaning of the content is. In addition, I believe that my use of the original copyrighted material exposes the copyright holder to a larger worldwide audience and helps to increase their visibility and recognition. By sharing my opinions and reviews of the protected material through my reaction videos, I am helping to promote the work of the copyright holder and potentially increase their audience and following. I do not believe that my use of the original material detracts from the value of the copyrighted work or harms the market for it in any way. Rather, I believe that my use of the material enhances the visibility and recognition of the copyright holder and contributes to the cultural and artistic discourse surrounding the work.
Fun fact: Ryan's retaliation in the birthday prank war this year was commissioning a full on song and dance number that tells the world how to pronounce Rob's last name 😂😂 It had to have cost him at least $100k to do.
Amazing
That song ended up on my Spotify Wrapped I played it that much 😂
On the politics thing, the UK government since 2010 has been Conservative/Tory. Wrexhams’ MP since 2019 has also been a Tory, but apart from that, since Wrexham first got its own MP in 1918 it has only _not_ had a Labour MP for less than 15 years and it’s almost certain that Labour will win the seat in the next election.
The Welsh Government, however, is Labour, and Wrexhams’ MS (Member of the Senedd), Lesley Griffiths, is Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and is also Trefnydd (House Leader) of the Senedd - and footballwise she was also a member of the board of the Wrexham Supporters Trust.
In local politics, Wrexham Council is currently run by a coalition of Independents (non-party councillors) and Conservatives (2022 results: 23 Independents, 14 Labour, 9 Conservative, 9 Plaid Cymru, 1 Liberal Democrat).
So you can see how the club would like to keep out of politics!
Wow, politics is messy. Thanks for the help.
Lol that's not complicated at all. Thank you for the explanation.
Also, due to the jumbled timeline, it's not clear but Mullins shoe issue was right when the decision on the Kop funding was about to be made, and there was quite a lot of concern that the kerfuffle had an effect on the outcome.
You probably know already but games starting at 3pm on a Saturday cannot be broadcast live. Games at all other times, on all other days can be broadcast live.
As they said, this was to preserve the attendance of the ticket buying audience in the stadium. Saturday 3pm is relevant because traditionally that’s when pretty much all games kicked off. Obviously this is no longer the case but the 3pm Saturday rule remains. (It’s expected to change)
Yes, we learned that last season. Thanks for the help.
Also thanks for putting season/episode in a bold display on your thumbnails. It's easy to see at a glance. 👍
No problem!
Thanks...... It's fun to rewatch the episode with you and love your reactions.
Thank you so much 💓 💗. Glad you enjoyed it
I thought this was a brilliantly structured (and very funny) episode that showcased Shaun Harvey's essential role at the club. If you recall from season 1, Shaun was a former CEO of Leeds United FC and was the chief executive of the EFL for a number of years.
I just love how we slowly meet everyone 💗
Team Tyrion here!
Yes!!!
Holiday roh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oad. Great episode.
Thanks U2
Enjoying your reactions!!
Glad you like them! Thanks
Live games are broadcast in the UK on a Saturday generally at 12.30 and 5.30 live on satellite/ cable tv. No one can can watch football live on the 3 o'clock kick offs in the UK on a Saturday. Anywhere else in the world you can watch UK live football at a 3pm on a Saturdays. Hope this helps x
Does that make the fans angry?
No mate that's our culture . We know the rules that's that. We love our game, apart from VAR ,which I hate with every fibre of my being. All the best to you, stay good!@@TouchyReactions
Just to clarify, only 3pm kick-offs on a Saturday afternoon that there’s a TV blackout. If TV companies want to show certain matches live, they would have to find alternative time to play the match.
Okay, Thanks
Oh, ok. Thanks for clearing that for me.
More specifically it's a ban on broadcasting football between 2.45pm and 5.15pm on Saturday. This applies to any football, not just English league football (so no bundesliga, la Liga, champions league etc games can be shown between those hours either) but those games can be shown in other countries...so in the us you actually get more televised premier league games than we do
@@unholyxeras8182 that's wild
Team Tyrion
I pay a yearly fee for a season of Wrexham through sky league videos.
So you get to watch all the games live? No blackouts?
@@TouchyReactions All the regular season games that Wrexham plays whether they're at home or away yes. And usually the Carabaro Cup is on either ESPN Plus or Paramount or peacock I can't remember which.
Hey where’s the season 1 reactions?
We watched season 1 without recording reactions. We decided that it would make good content and started recording in season 2. Sorry.
Poor Shaun… and his holiday…
I know, right...lol
