Hi, I just want you to know how much I enjoy your channel. You’re just so nice to be with. I once lived in Northport, we’re Billy lives, so I know how the Florida temperatures go. I’m back in Cincinnati now, and we are having winter. I hate being cold Cue. I’m only 4 foot eight or 9 inches tall, so I do like long cardigan. They give me a little height. I never button my cardigans either, so I really like the little scalloped edging on that one weather. It was fun to see all the cardigans you have made. I have to admit that I have never made anything like that. I pretty much stick to hats and blankets. My vision is very poor, due to severe glaucoma, so, the easy stuff is best.
Thank you for all you do, and for all the Boggy Blankets you put together. Oh my goodness, I can’t even imagine doing what you have done. I love making granny squares, but really don’t like putting them together.Juan he has a wonderful tutorial, showing how he put his squares together. It looks really nice, so I’m going to try it. I am working on the. Now, and I’m dreading putting the squares together. Oh well, it will be fun deciding how the colors go.❤

I recently made a cocoon shrug that I didn’t like the fit so I undid my seams and made it a blanket for my 6 year old. He loves it.

I love your cardigans! I really love the one you have on today, I always have a cardigan with me when I visit my daughter. She keeps her house so cold you can hang meat in there!! I am looking for something to crochet right now. As you can see, I am watching videos instead of looking for patterns! Oh well, I have to keep up with my videos. I hope you and Tom are well. Need to go watch the unboxing of the blankets from last night and then I will watch the one they are doing tonight. Busy night for me.

The cardigan you are wearing is beautiful. The yarn is Caron Cotton Funnel Cakes in the color Lilac. I love cotton yarn, so I bought all I could find when it was put on clearance.

Love your cardigans. ❤️ You’ve inspired me to try to make a true cardi. Last year, for the first time in making a wearable, I made myself and my daughter, BOD’s LaLa Land Cocoon Cardi. It came out looking fine but I know what you mean when you say it just doesn’t fit right for some reason. I will try an easy cardigan next. The one you’re making your granddaughter looks great so far. I love the colors she picked out. Thank you, again, for the inspiration.🥰

Beautiful cardigans, thanks so much for sharing. I would love to make the BOD one and some of the other ones too. :) They came out really nice. Also if you ever need kids patterns or sweaters, Heart hook home the designer offers all her kids sized patterns for free on her blog. This year she said all her regular patterns she creates and publishes will be free. She makes lovely designs. I just started testing some of her patterns as of last fall. She also has tunisian crochet patterns and she just released her 1st pattern book with Wecrochet which is tunisian patterns. I bought it and I can't wait to make them. 😊

My Granddaughters name is Carson too. It was my maiden name. She's 8 and I love making her sweaters and also for my 2 daughters. I like the MJ patterns and really like the looks of your WIP. I am not a fan of the cocoon sweater as there are so many patterns that have more interesting detail. I like the scalloped look for the band that you modified. I'm sort of on hold for winter sweaters for my kids as they have so many but there are some great lacy spring tops that I will sneak in lol!! Take care

Beautiful cardigans! I have a pattern from MJoffthehook that I purchased last year because I fell in love with the design. I have no idea how to make a cardigan, but I will start it this year sometime and just take my time on it. Your colors choices on the one you are making now are really pretty together.

I really enjoyed seeing your cardigans. I made the Cabot Trail cardigan by MJ using a sport weight yarn from Hobby Lobby and its gorgeous❤. I have tons of cardigans.... I just love making them! Currently, I'm working on 2 cardigans ( one from Han Jan and the other from Briana K) and a cocoon from Bag O Day. 😊

No wonder you're so good at crochet. I don't think you've ever put your hook down since you've started. You sure have made a lot of items. I haven't made a cocoon cardigan because I'm not sure if I would like it. I haven't ever known anyone who has one so I could try it on. It looks awkward.

Beautiful cardigans. Question for you though. I am a seasoned crocheter been crocheting for over 35 years. I have yet to make a wearable for myself. I would love to make a cardigan but have never done so. What one would you recommend for a beginner. I know I can do it just intimadated by how big a project it could be. Any advice? Ty
Yes, absolutely. I would start with the chunky cardigan by Bag o Day her tutorial is easy to follow but if you are feeling adventurous you could do the Cabot Trail by MJ’s Off the Hook. It’s an easy pattern repeat and construction

I made the easy cardigan by Wilma Westernberg - just a great pattern. Plan on making another in cotton and leaving off the ribbing 🧶
