I just bought a used 2013 ford taurus sel a couple months ago. It's my first car & I know nothing about cars:( I noticed the daytime running light on the driver side went out. I know it's a stupid question, but i'm going to ask anyway. I would have to remove the one on the passenger side and take it to an auto parts store just to see what kind of bulb it is, right? :/just lost on how to care for my first car.
CGR Cars, Guns, and Reviews did today I changed my bulb without touching filters and nothing to unscrew, you may need to make a new video, you can change it for about 2 minutes, just need to find the rubber which covering bulb
@@ChiTownFlyDown It's actually easy, you can feel it if you will try to put your hand right there. I already forgot exactly, but believe me, it's so easy, 3 minutes and bulb is changed

Ok my front hazard/ turn signal light is off, from driver side , notice is attach different how do I remove that one? The bulb is not easy to remove lol
Now, Do you know how to change the driver turn signal? Mine have the Whelen light socket. So to change the bulb I must replace all wiring socket. How can install a regular civilian bulb. Dont need to flasher lights I guess that's what alot of police vehicles have.
@@cgrreviews7220 yes, the only way to change the bulb is to change the wiring I guess? ... unless there a trick for it to be change. The part number is EB5Z-13410-C thats how it looks.
@@pitbullchamp3459 I looked at the bulb that's weird mine did not come like that have you followed the wire to what ever connector its on there also maybe the original socket is pushed away or hidden my car had s regular bulb and socket
Shouldn't need to remove the air ducting between the airbox and the throttle body. Just undo the 8mm bolt connecting the ducting to the airbox and slide the ducting off.
Great video, but you do not necessarily need to disconnect anything. If you have small enough hands you can work in the small spaces that are provided to you. Just be careful making sure you keep the new headlights free from dust and debris while working. If you are installing led bulbs, then make sure you have them positioned properly. If you keep the wiring going down at all times they should be the right way. And as always, if new bulbs dont work properly at first unhook it and flip the harness around. Got mine done in like 20 min. Take care
You are right but in the video the two screws once you remove them the headlight just pulls straight out and the bulb is visable right away and you just place the whole assembly right back

Yeah tht is a problem. Why do they make it so hard to counter clockwise turn out. It should be an easy pop out. They really need to fix this in future cars with somekind of pop switch. Who knows who behind you when you trying to mess with this stuff on cold nights in bad areas bc you not snug in a private garage with peace of mind to operate

If you visit a local parts store, they will find the right part for you using their computers. You should have a few brand options to pick from

I changed the bulb w/o removing anything at all.
Oh yea for sure it can be done that way but this was more for people that cant squeeze their hand in or just rather take the bumper off
