Knowing that Ufotable has been adapting Demon Slayer pretty faithfully to the manga, I didn’t have high hopes for this season, and it turned out exactly like I expected, except for the last episode. That slapped beautifully
The last episode follows the trend of every finale of every season (except s1 ig because it didn't end on a climax) being orgasmically good. Crying uncontrollably for several minutes to a DS season finale, followed by hours/days of questioning my worldveiw is def one of the things that I love about this show.

Last episode was wasted. They just showed the Talk of ubuyashiki and Muzan half the time and other half they showed flashbacks and infinity castle

I tried to watch Demon Slayer, It looks beautiful but god damn the MCs are either boring or annoying. I got to episode 15 and dropped it.
I watched like 3 episodes and fell asleep and woke up and I was on episode 15 and was so confused
I suggest you try to persevere at least until the episode that "broke the internet", since it was really really great.
I got to 6 and was like why is tanjiro doing shakespeare monologues every episode

I watched three episodes. The animation is not worth it when the story is this lukewarm.
Demon slayer story is the most mid thing ever it's getting hard carried by the animation.
I say it's carried by the score.

@@8-bitnightshadeit’s not the most mid thing ever. The story is pretty solid, and the animation really adds so much to it. I don’t get where this idea of Demon Slayer being mid comes from. Maybe people wish that other manga got this treatment?
@@thomasffrench3639it's not even that I just got hard-sold on demon Slayer. people were telling me that it was better than hero academia, and it's just not, yes the animation is better but that's literally all it's got going for it I feel like people that think demon Slayer is in their top 10 anime have only watched less than 20 anime, like don't get me wrong I would be happy if any other anime got the same UFO table treatment for animation, but it's just not enough to carry this story, I don't care about every demons backstory, I barely even care about the main character's backstory, they just kind of make me fail to care about anyone to the point where the only redeeming quality is the animation, I feel like demon Slayer hasn't had one moment that has emotionally resonated with me, versus every other anime I can think of at least one moment that hit me in the feels, whether it be sad or hype or anger, the closest demon Slayer got was rengoku and his dad, but even that was hard to care about becuase it felt so forced, I don't know how to describe it it just feels so plasticky and fake. Also to be clear mid does not mean bad it just means middle-of-the-pack nothing special or interesting there are plenty of shows that are worse than it and that I would argue are actually bad and not just mid

Everything that came after that is trash(expect for tengen,but they did him dirty too, atleast they should've made him beheed the uppermon, plot armor for tanjiro was so bad too), Season 3: probably the worst Season of demon slayer

I only read the manga for Demon Slayer and the sword smith village arc was the first arc where I thought it actually got good

Demon slayer is a pretty mid anime and it's praised so highly just because of the good animation, the story is mid, new gen anime is trash, go watch berserk

You know what bothers me so much??? Every character has the same face shape. Literally everyone. Once you notice it you can't unsee it. They just have different hair or eyes.
Yeah, season 3 was not my favourite. But I do absolutely not watch demon slayer just for the action.
Also I want to say to everyone calling demon slayer objectively bad/mid that literally no anime(or story in general) is for everyone. That's fine. There's people who don't like demon slayer and don't understand all the hype. I personally have a hard time getting into JJK and don't really understand all the hype.
But a lot of people love both of these shows, so the issues we have with the shows is not just due to the story being objectively lackluster, but also just our subjective appreciation for art. IT'S FINE TO HAVE AN OPINION WITHOUT INTELECTUALIZING IT GODDAMMIT... so-sorry ~.~

Demon Slayer has always had shitty story telling. The animation was so good, people just didn’t care about how bad the plot is.
I was expecting plot to get better as it went. Somehow, it got worse.

Don't know why but the demon slayer s3 8s still in trending after so many months. Currently airing anime deserve that like dr. Stone i would say.

One Piece pace in the anime is terrible, but I think in the manga is pretty normal for a shounen, specially considered from the time it came out and everything

I've read the manga and its the same repeated bullshit and it was so fkn cheesy and rushed. Tanjirou became a *spoiler* demon king for like a second and got saved by a plot armour what a mid manga
It's gonna because of the action, not the story
What are you guys talking about!! It called "developing a character" so as a viewer later on, you can sympathies with the characters. You can care about their injuries and their fights. I agree this season didn't have lots of action scenes like previous seasons but it was necessary for the story line.
Honestly the only traits most of the cast has is "wow look this such a good person, even though they have a sad backstory"

@@joewantsabrew Most of the Hashira are shown to be unapologetic assholes, who when we first met them wanted Tanjiro to be executed along with his sister.
Their characters arcs conclude as them being heroic good guys, but that has more to do with them seeing Nezuko protecting people, and their resolve to follow their tenents: "protec humans, slay demons". If you put them in a situation where that's relevant they do become the heroes of the story, I.e that's the reason for it.
I mean people read the manga for the characters. That’s the reason it got an anime in the first place.
Yeah, people can enjoy different aspects of a show, but saying that no one cares about the characters is a bit off

Yeah this season was definitely the worst out of the 3
