Some people like to judge how much snacks and sweets she gets. Please remember , children that were in foster homes when they are removed they have their “ comfort foods” and most are snacks and sweets. Some grow out of it and most kids don’t and even when they are adopted they still look for their comfort food . This is not just foster children , all children but foster children are looked at . Also children might of not had enough food in their home even if they were little , stacking up and having extra food on hand and full pantry allows children to see that they will not go hungry , that’s part of trauma. Even when they are adopted , that just doesn’t go away because they are adopted . I think she does a great job with food shopping . She is great and does great by those children. If she can afford , those kids deserve everything they can get. Please be kind when you are commending on these posts.
Just wanted to give you guys an tip for you storage/pantry room. It may be usefull to put the just bought grocery that you put on the shelf, on the back, that way you're not eating that first and leave the ones behind it go to waste. It's basically called the Fifo method (What is the FIFO method? FIFO stands for first in, first out, an easy-to-understand inventory valuation method that assumes that goods purchased or produced first are sold first. In theory, this means the oldest inventory gets shipped out to customers before newer inventory.) So basically you would use up the oldest product first. It's usually what grocery stores will do. Just thought to let you know
@@Firedust1 for some it might be common sense, but not for everybody. Otherwise it would'nt be tought to people who works in grocery stores really (at least they do over here in Europe), so yeah.

Hey Alicia! I cook a lot of Asian dishes! A great tip for rice if you can’t find parboiled is to wash your rice prior to cooking until the water is clear! This will get a lot of the startch out that causes the rice the stick together! Just pour rice in a bowl run cold water over it and run your hand in the bowl with rice and water then drain water and repeat 3-4 times! 🧡🧡🧡 Happy holidays!
This works so good omg last time I done it girl it's the first time I've ever had to clean it so much but I had to clean the rice 15 times before it was clear it wasn't even totally clear yet but I was tired of rinsing lol

Not just the daily tasks of being a mom, but filming it all, editing it, uploading multiple platforms..how!? It’s quite remarkable. I am curious to know other than the fact that you clearly feel some kind of joy and purpose/fulfillment raising all these lovely kids, do you do this for TH-cam mostly to keep yourself going strong? Sure, it pays well and I understand the message/journeying of fostering/adopting children and the daily struggles and also joys that comes with that. I guess I’m asking, how do you have the energy to do all this…every day? And does TH-cam in some weird way kind of keep you accountable and push yourself above and beyond what most parents/people could handle ~ without outside validation? Despite what everyone has to say about your parenting that leans rather critical -which by the way, I’m sure she knows all that, and it’s not up to everyone else to play God and judge her choices - it’s incredible how much you’re able to do for and with them. I am not really expecting an answer to all of this, I just wanted to acknowledge your hard work and share that your resilience is admired. Just make sure to get some much needed rest this holiday season! 😊😊 All the best to you and your family 💝

You should look into laundry detergent sheets. They work great and are so much easier than lugging around those giant bottles.
8:44 I have to agree with you that when you meal plan it’s way easier and also easier when you make a grocery list I’ve learned
What exciting news for James! I am so happy for him!
🧡🧡🧡
Food is so expensive in the US 😳 uncle Ben's rice is normally on offer for £1 here in the UK but you can get other brands of microwave rice for like 50p!
You should buy a washer and dryer it would save you money from the laundry mat
Excited for James. That is awesome.
Can't wait to see the 1 million celebration. 🥰🥰🥰
Alicia, I love these videos so much and thank for including the putting away of groceries with Mr. Alex who is just growing up before our eyes! I am so happy for James and the Culinary program, he is going to rock it! Hopefully you remembered Sugar and Flour at Costco 😂
.. and cupcake forms lol
🎊🎊CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO OF WHAT YOU GUYS EAT IN A WEEK TO WHERE YOU USE ALL THE GROCERIES THAT YOU BUY I THINK IT WOULD BE AWESOME TO SEE HOW ALL THE FOOD YOU BUY IS EATEN🎊🎊🎊
how much extra do you put into your cart each week that isn't on your list??
Serving bottled cranberry juice to a 3 yr old early mrng is disaster.. Harlee please stop..coz ur mom wont.. looking at dozen bottles of juice for the week
Doesn’t even dilute with some water. Way too strong for a lil 5 year old.
Oh she lies.. i have seen in her vlogs.. she wakes up and asks for juice and then a refil and she gets it..and i dont know how many for the rest of the day
The keto diet not for weight loss but to do that like the diabetes in blood pressure and cholesterol and all that certain things with that keto diet can help bring all those numbers down where they’re supposed to be
That amount of cereal is insane
Yih said you always. Need dish soap but you always buy paper plates and bowls so what do you wash that you use so much soap if you said your septic tank isn't working
She buys the cheap kind of dish detergent .. it’s mostly water believe me I know when I am low in cash I buy that one too but at the end u spend more … I buy the big jug in bjs of the good one n it’s last so much longer . Idk why she don’t buy the bigger ones at Costco or bjs .🤷🏻♀️

It's fun watching other people spend money.😀 It's so satisfying!😄

December is a lot harder this year in the UK in Scotland right now we have freezing fog and minus temps with the cost of living many here can only dream of a big shop like you do but I know we all love watching you and you're family you are all a bright 🌞 wee sun and a happy wee break thank you for being you and merry Christmas from Glasgow Scotland xxx xxx all the very best wishes for 2023 xxx
Freezing fog ?? 🤨 sorry I live in the USA neve heard of that .my ancestors are from Scotland would you mind sharing a good recipe for me to try? Possibly if not that okay thanks
@@jamiewilhelm1388 I live in southeastern US with lots of mountains and sometimes in winter we have freezing fog on the mountains, very dangerous driving conditions and sometimes causes power outages from freezing lines. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🧡
as a kid who has tubes in the ears, i am going to warn you now. she's going to be sensitive to some sounds and others it's still going to be tone deaf to and i'm in my late 30's now. it's been like that all my life.

PF Chang's knnock off Asian chicken lettue wrraps are some of our favorites. Found a knockoff recipe and The hoisin sauce is what make it. Sort of sweet tasting.
@@domoLoveesOME knock off or copycat recipe is what I was trying to say. I am perfectly fine.
I enjoy going grocery shopping with you. It's amazing how us moms know our kids so we'll. It's blessing for us. It's nice to be able to relate . Your videos is fun and never boring. Y'all are great strong family. In my prayers for continued love and staying strong and good patience.
Thank you 🧡🧡🧡
Way to go to DeShawn you're awesome my grandson Rashaad wrestles& plays football.4th place is wonderful ❣️
Please tell me your secret of how you have the energy to shop so early? I am dead in the mornings. I also have 4 girls and work. To be this put together in the morning is incredible
She gets paid for posting these! If I got paid and was a “influencer” Id be lit up like a christmas tree shopping at 6am too! Lol 😂

Wait, you don't like rice that stick together? As an Asian, we lovveeee when our rice stick together, warm and fluffy. But, everyone has their own taste, right? Oh and maybe... you can consider to invest into a very good quality of rice cooker. Made your rice fluffier and save a lot of your time, like.. a lot of it.
By the look of your pantry you probably could have saved going shopping another few weeks
ok dumb question reason for almond milk or they just like better? i tried n liked almond bannana but only did it for short time can't remb why I tried it lol 😅
I’ve been a viewer for a couple of months now, and I just can’t comprehend how you do all this most days of the week, with what seems like 3 hours of sleep!
@@sandawise79 what’s wrong with having or wanting money? Unless you live with nothing yourself, which is your business if that’s the case, that’s a pretty silly comment. One kid is expensive, let alone 12 + the parents’ and all the expenses that comes with their lifestyle.
@@sandawise79 That's right Sanda, she works hard for her money. She has a great job, and a wonderful, loving family which supports her and sometimes participates, because it's a FAMILY SHOW! Alishia's pretty awesome, wouldn't you say?
@@jubixpix thank you, you have written what many, many of us feel about Alicia and her work. This is an exception woman, I'm only sorry that so many unkind, uninformed people are here too.
A very special woman, a very special mom, a very special family!!

Enjoy your grocery hall. I wonder if you going give back to your community during the holiday like the kids could pick out gift give it to Toy R Us. You have a family to shop for their needs and want. It would be a fun video to make.
I think doing the FIFO would be a great solution for you all!! Newest in the back and just keep moving everything older forward..
Oh my gosh that is a RIDICULOUS amount of cereal! 😮
1 box is not enough for breakfast for each kid. It’s gotta take at least 2-3 for one meal. 1 box of chips is not enough for 1 lunch for each kid. It’s not a lot in comparison to how many they are feeding.
@@mcd_a1360 The velveeta had what 6 in each box? Therefore if each kid were to eat 1 container, it would take 2 of the boxes for each to get one. That is not counting anyone else who may be there as well. Like I said above, it’s really not a lot in comparison.
Yes,and if she cooks breakfast every morning ,which she makes a video ,why,so confused
🎄❄️Hi Alicia! I love when you do grocery shopping vlogs. I prefer Wegmans over Walmart. Love you and your family. Have a great rest of your week and God Bless❤️🎄

Hey, don’t forget to get sugar and flour at cosco!
Even Alex is questioning WHY you bought more of the stuff in which you already have surplus. So do some inventory perhaps, before you set off for the store to waste money. 😐
Right.. so wasteful
So she has a stockpile in case anything should happen
These super judgemental comments kill me. WHY is it even necessary 😕
I doubt the extra cereal goes to waste, she has a lot of teenagers. I have one that's eating me out of house and home, don't know where he puts it, lol.
What is wrong with having a surplus? Never know what could happen .
On grocery day you must start taking the truck. Easy to load easy to unload. Hold a lot.
Just love that Alex helps so much what a good son.
Thank you 🧡🧡🧡
What James is going to is basically like vo-tech/career center ( which is awesome by the way)
I don't know why but I always look forward to your shopping hauls, they just fascinate me.
My daughter uses Mielle products on her hair. It's softens her curls and works really well on the kink of the roots.
Absolutely love your family videos and grocery hauls. Still crazy how prices are so different everywhere
Merry early Christmas Alicia and family!! Always a treat to watch your shopping vlogs...I went shopping after work and it wasn't nearly as fun😅
I don't know the situation that caused Alex to be for adoption but I am certain his biological parents would be proud of the young man he is now. Good job, Dougherty🧡
From the sounds of previous comments, lack of funds for bio mom.
He still sees his mam from time to time, they are the image of each other 😊
James is going to be an amazing chef, I also think Alex would be great in education/teaching he is just amazing with his siblings
I can totally see Alex being a teacher like his dad! I wonder if he has any interests in mind yet.
I'm sorry if this question is inappropriate or anything but I was wondering how much do you typically spend on your weekly grocery haul?
It's so nice to see the relationship you have with Alex. He is a good kid. He helps out alot. Love watching your shopping vlogs
Thank you 🧡🧡🧡
***PLEASE BRING BACK CAPTIONS***
I love watching your videos. I am in Az and before vacation in NY…. I WOULD WAKE TO YOUR BREAKFAST, lunch and dinner videos…. But I think you are behind which makes sense and I totally get it…
I am HOH… hard of hearing. Do you still provide captions? I know you said it takes longer to upload so you initially upload without captions…. Sorry to be a pain…. Captions help those who have handicapped and I know you are so understanding about health issues.
Please bring back captions😊
Thank you
TH-cam sometimes take up to a day to add them
Try sugar snap peas. Sweet. And crunchy. Great raw and in stir fry
Yeah! James! You go man! Oh, I so want to shop at Wagmens ( sorry about the spelling ). I live in one of the smallest towns here and the one grocery store here isn’t even close. Glad to see you remembering your bags. You go girl!
How did u run out of food,🤔if you were gone a week?
she literally said she didn’t meal plan so the kids were eating what was in the pantry. hence why she needed cereal because that’s what they ate the week they came back. listening shouldn’t be so hard
I usually always have things in my pantry/cabinets and freezer, but I'm always going to store for other things we need. Also, I do not want to deplete my stock in case another pandemic or a financial crisis happens. If I had 12 children that would be at the top of my list of concerns, making sure I can always feed them.
She does this for a video. Which is why her garage and fridge is like a grocery store because she buys buys buys & doesn’t need any of it.. SHES horrible lol. Idk how people think this is okay, her whipping out the shelves just to have a whole store at her house for money .
If you watched the video , she didn't shop last week.
How about younkeep your opinion to yourself? 🤣
That is awesome for James!! The pre-made gingerbread houses look awesome, I need to find some for my grandkids.
I am so happy for James, and this opportunity. 😍 Grats young mate!
Might as well get a forklift to do your grocery shopping.
I only shop for 4 teenage boys and I get comments every single time I go about how much stuff I have.
😂😂😂
That’s a lot of stuff for a “weekly” haul 😵💫. And over 10 boxes of cereal is absurd 🥴
maybe for your home life but this is a big family that always has extra visitors.
Especially when her pantry already has multiple cereal boxes
Yes it is a lot.
You know she has 12 kids right? And visitors often
@@lenasolarova i understand that I have a big family and have tons of adult family members.. we don’t spend half the amount she does monthly .. that’s wasteful and absurd!
