Good video. ZX14 owners need good instructional videos like this. I'm going to try to change my own plugs, but I'm worried about getting the valves adjusted. I hope the Kawasaki dealer will be able to do it right.
Valve adjustment is fairly easy. All you need is feeler gauges and patients. The stealer will charge a big amount for that job. Thank you for the compliment. That's what keeps me making videos.
Way cheaper and easier to jam a marble into the PAIR hose that comes off the airbox. Pull hose off, stuff a greased up marble into the hose and reconnect it. Done.
@@DRKKNTRACING Yeah, but most people don't care about 13 ounces of weight savings on a 570lbs bike... lol You can lose more weight than that just by increased your fiber with breakfast before you ride. 🙂 I never found it worth the time to remove the whole system with a few minutes and a marble 100% blocks it...
Gooday mate from Down Under... ive just purchased a 07 zx14 with 12000kms on it in mint condition. Excuse my ignorance, but Whats the advantage or reason for doing this mod? And is it worth doing for power or fuel consumption. I know f, all about motors...thats why im a subscriber.. Good video mate,,thanks Mark
Wow, that's a horrible design. To make a bike thats damn near almost unserviceable for a simple spark plugs Chang without have to remove the engine to get some working space.. who does that!!.. I was ok with the hidden battery compartment.. shook my head at that huge 1940s prop duster exposed fan blade.. but really, what next. Ok Kawasaki, lets put the oil refill in between the engine and frame where we can't reach it without having to remove the engine now.. LMAO..
Thanks for the great video. Great point about easier spark plug change.

@@DRKKNTRACING not only will they charge alot. They will probably do it incorrectly. And it will take them forever.
I'm a suzuki guy but, you have good information to share✌
I’m doing the nitrous plate system. Thank you for the video!!!
Worth doing for the spark plug change alone your so right 👌
I love the videos. Do you have have a video deleting the evap or emissions stuff off the bike?
I used 2 boat plugs for my air box holes.

That doesn't remove the system completely. That's just another way to block it.
