Interesting. From the research I did before the video, it would seem as though the precisiontrac was one of the telltales. Any idea what it means then? My friends LSE had precision trac on the dash as well.
@wadethetrucker allegedly it was just their fancy name for the new rear watts link/sway bar contraption back in the 90s when they started that. Mines just a generic GS with nothing else. Allegedly it came in like all of the Mercs of the time.
They should have options like 5.7, 6.4 and then EV, it gives us better choices for chrysler, not just EV. Never understood this whole EV crap unless they will make dodge and Ram with the V8s and have chrysler just focus on EV. Thats in my opinion of course

Precisiontrac does not mean its an HPP. My 99 is bare bones and definitely is not an HPP but has that. 2.73 axle code too.

Pretty sure an easy way to tell visibly if it is an HPP is if it has a dual exhaust system.
That is also one of the telltales, but in this case, the previous owner put on an aftermarket “stainless steel” exhaust (that rusted out lol)
